Such a great little fountain!
This was so simple and inexpensive, for such results. I made a little diy birdbath for my small apartment balcony, and put this little solar pump in it. It works beautifully, just as is, out of the box, with none of the attachments. My bowl is 16” wide, I used river rocks to anchor the pump in the center. It’s a perfect little bubbler for the bird bath, which attracts birds. The attachments work great, but in a smaller bowl such as mine, it would cause the water to splash out. If it were about 20” wide or larger, this would not be a problem. I like the fact it only works with the sun, and as it gets darker, it stops. It will prolong the life of the pump. Perfect solution for a sunny bird bath!

Works Exceptionally Well
This Solar Fountain Water Pump for Bird Bath looks really cute in my birdbath. It came on immediately as I placed it in the water. It was very easy to set up. The hose can be cut to fit the size birdbath that you have. My birdbath is very small so I did cut the hoses shorter to allow the fountain to be balanced better. The size is ok and you get a variety of fittings for the water flow design that you want. So far it has been working great as long as it's getting direct sunlight. The water flow does go over my birdbath though, and I think that this is because it is not a wider birdbath. The fountain remains very stable as well. Very affordable and I definitely recommend it.

Don’t buy for bird baths!
Works good and instantly. But too big for my bird bath. Tried the different nozzles. This is DEFINITELY MEANT FOR PONDS that is bigger than 2 feet!!!! The wind was blowing and the sprayed water was being sprayed outside of the bird bath so the bath was empty within a couple of hours. Fortunately I tried it when I was home. Hoping there is a smaller fountain that I can get. Other than that, it looks beautiful and it definitely works. Just need a big enough bath that the water stays inside. It gets really high up in the bright sunlight and it lowers a lot when it is cloudy. I really wish it worked out. :(

Needs direct sunlight or it will not work
For this solar fountain to work you need to prime the pump and then it needs to be in direct sunlight or it will not work. If a cloud momentarily blocks the sun it will stop working, there is no stored energy in the cells. Great fountain when it's working, but not so great when it's not.

A+ Bought mine in July 2022!!
I live in the Coachella Valley. Summers here are brutal with temps from 110+ on average. The picture window where the fountain sits in front of gets the full brunt of the sun for most of the day here. But this little fountain has survived one hellish summer so far and then some! (If my fountain could talk! 🤔😆) It is still running much to the delight of my kitty who loves to study it while she's waiting for a lizard, bunny or a bird to pop by. I placed my fountain outside in a somewhat shallow plastic recepticle that I got at the 99¢ store. Nothing fancy. So here are some longevity tips that work for me and will probably work for you. Keep plenty of pure water in your recepticle. Be sure to keep an eye on it during the day to make sure the water stays at an optimum level. Water levels go down because of evaporation and water being splashed either by the action of the fountain or wildlife playing in it. I just keep a hose or water container close by to quickly refill it. Clean the motor periodically depending on use. Keep your recepticle clean. Can't stress that enough. That means scrub it clean bcuz of slime/dirt buildup. If you've placed the fountain in a birdbath, you also need to scrub out the dirt and slime impurities often. Don't neglect this important step because it totally helps with the overall function of your solar fountain. Also clean your device. I can't stress that enough either. I take a power nozzle and spray the entire underside of it and gently swipe off any slime or dirt with your fingers to get around and under the tubes and motor housing on the underside.. And Yes!! You can power nozzle the motor. It blows out dirt and slime!! I do it all the time. I also do a periodic vinegar cleanse to it. Fill your recepticle with water. Stir in approx 1/4 cup per gallon of water. Use basic plain vinegar (acv, white. Do NOT use any other kind of vinegar) put your cleaned fountain in the water and let it run in the sunshine for 2 days. Maybe longer if you get less full sunshine. After 2+ days, dump the vinegar water, rinse device and power wash the underside again as little round gel like formations may have grown underneath, then add clean water again, add the device and set it in the sun again. It will be like new. The vinegar clears out scum and calcium buildup inside the device which causes a flow reduction or just stops working altogether. I do this once/mo usually or when I see my fountain struggling to work. There are no switches or controls. The solar motor is all it needs. And with some love and attention it will live a long time. I love my fountain. But I bought it for my indoor kitty and I think think she loves it more than me 😂

Better than expected!
Great! I got this little floating fountain for my hanging bird bath and it works super well! much better than I was expecting. It's going at full power on an overcast day at the moment. I love that it came with several different fountain nozzles so I could adjust it to what works best for me. It also included little stick attachments that can be used to make the fountain sit in the middle of the bird bath without moving around, very convenient. Moves the water around vigorously and creates a lovely flowing water sound as it runs.

Solar fountain works well
Works beautifully when the sun is on it. In shade and dark it stops. Nice little fountain in my pond.

Only works in direct sunlight with no clouds
It's a good size for a bird bath, was easy to set up, but I took off stars because unless it is in absolute direct sunlight, it doesn't work. So if the sun goes behind the clouds, or even if I stand by the bird bath and my shadow covers it, it completely stops working. So if you have a cloudy day or even partly cloudy day, it's not going to work. When it is in the sun, the power that the pump has is pretty good. Disappointed that it's only going to work consistently if there's literally no clouds in the sky.

Great bird bath fountain
Easy to put together and it works great. My grandkids wondered why the fountain stopped when they got close to it. I had to explain that they were creating a shadow and it only works when the sun is shining on it.
