Works great strong easy to assemble reasonable price

This is fairly sturdy, But when you adjust the bottom to raise or lower the pole the adjustments arms tend to bend if you apply to much pressure. Also the bottom of the legs should have a wider pad so something could be spiked down to hold the tripod in windy conditions.

I am an Amature Radio Operator and use this product as part of my go kit. It is one of the strongest built antenna tripods I have seen and the price is awesome. In fact I am going to by another one to put on my roof for an antenna I recently purchased. It is a durable strong design one of the best I have seen. In my hobby I have seen many antenna tripods and this one is the best. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a go kit to operate duing emergency communications or for somone who is looking for a strong antenna tripod for thier home. It is by far the best I have seen.

The problem I have is that it states it can be used for directv antenna's. It is only compatible with the older single satellite versions. Perhaps they should state the pole size and not that it is compatible. I realized this after I threw out the box and put it in my RV. Luckily I still had my old tripod and was able to repair it. It is the smaller 1.66 pole and not the 2" required for the slimline that most people use.

I bought this trip for my new Davis VantageVue weather station. The ISS easily mounted on the pole. You do need to buy 9 lag screws to attach to your roof. I also bought some roofing sealant which i applied liberally in, around and on top of the screw holes. It is half the price of the official Davis tripod and so far works great.

I bought this tripod mount for ham radio 2m portable "in the field CW/SSB" use and it'squite perfect for that. I put a mast into the supplied mast, which is tightly bolted when in use.That way the smaller pipe I insert allows me to rotate the 2m beam by hand. Works GREAT.Very well made tripod mount for most any need like this.

This stand is lightly built in fact so lightly built that you can't tighten the bolts down to clamp the mast in place with out bending the parts that hold the legs. I gave it 3 stars because the idea is great just not the execution.

missing some bolts on arrival. cost $7.25 to replace them at the local hardware store. Other than that, it is a good, light duty product.
