Llewellyn's Classic Tarot Mini

I looked for quite a while before buying these as I wanted a deck that had pictures on all of the cards, as although we know the traditional meanings should on the whole be adhered to, I find with pictured cards it makes it easier to look at the cards and draw from your own intuition and build a story around them. The cards are of pretty good quality although the inner box witch the actual cards are kept in is quite flimsy so I would suggest to keep them in a tarot bag or pouch like I have. The cards are full of beautiful and rich colours and also the outer box they come in. All in all a lovely deck and would be easy to read for a beginner or for someone whos more accomplished at reading tarot as well.

A very good RWS pack. Good art work and very readable. Being borderless makes such a difference. I tend to give all my packs RWS meanings. Some packs warrant a small variation but I feel more at ease giving the RWS meanings, albeit a bit of a waste of many beautiful decks which probably merit and deserve their very own interpretations/readings. However, having learned the finite meanings of all aspect of the RWS cards, I accept my shortcomings with happy resignation.

This deck is the Rider Waite Smith Deck (RWS), but with clear modern images depicting the original meanings. It comes with a large 8 by 5 inch 256 page book with coloured images; generally each card is given two pages, but three is given were the author thought it was needed. The descriptions are clear and well thought out. The original RSW deck (1910) deck was the first deck printed to include images to explain the 40 cards numbered 1 to 10 in each of the four suites, but it was limited by printing technology of the time. As most modern decks designs use the RWS deck as their starting point, the RWS is generally recommended for beginners. This deck is an improved version of the RWS.

I have an awful lot of tarot decks, mini through to giant so I’m leaving my personal opinion in hope that it helps. This deck is slightly smaller than Hanson-Robert’s, Rider Waite Smith & Everyday Witch mini packs. Cardstock is ok, bit thin but shuffles nicely. The artwork is ok. However, I like a colourful, pretty or arty deck but this somehow seems flat. It’s a full-colour deck but with a lot of dull inky blue which seems to sap the life out of it (sorry). The two of cups leaves me cold. Just a different style, for sure. I do like that the card description is clear white print on a blue bar across the bottom of each card- easy & clear to read. For me though, the colours just don’t pop or draw me in & the characters just don’t look friendly, handsome, pretty or welcoming!🤣. I wouldn’t rave about it. I'm in love in every details of them 😘💋🃏🥰💕🫶

Very well done. nice to shuffle and good imaging. Very intuitive. I am glad I added it to the family.

Very good colorful beginners deck without distracting borders on laminated cardstock. Similar in style to the Rider Waite deck. Comes with a full sized paperback book explaining all the meanings. The book is worth the price alone in my opinion. Very happy with purchase!

Le tout est correct ; manipulation agréable, couleurs pastel très jolies, une qualité très bonne pour cette miniature. Concernant " le contact" avec l'énergie du jeu, me semble aussi fort qu'avec un jeu classique. Rien à dire, sauf : très bien.

I love this deck. It is close enough to the R.W.S to be read with ease, but it is much prettier and colourful. I also appreciate the smaller size, which makes it much easier to shuffle. The companion book is also very well done.

It's a cute pack. Great when travelling when you don't want to take too much with you. Love it.
