Fantastic jacket.
Great fit, comfy and very warm. Size is accurate. Seems well made, so far no issues after wearing for four months. Paying for quality.

Excellent Jacket
Been wanting to get one of these jackets for ages but was a bit put off by the price !! Decided to finally pull the trigger and I’m not disappointed !! Heavy , well made and warm it’s the best jacket I’ve ever bought and worth every penny , I think it will last for years and just look even better with some wear !! Defo go for a size smaller than your normal fit as the sizing is very generous

Great jacket
Really like this jacket. It's very cosy and comfortable, and looks great. The sizes are generous. I typically buy XL for tops on the UK high street as I have broad back and shoulders; I bought this jacket in the Large size, and the relaxed fit is perfect for me. The pleated shoulders also give you a very good range of arm movement. Very practical if you intend to use this as a work coat. Looks very well made.

Carhartt Jacket....love it but.....
Feels super tough and comfy. Great I am actually able to wear my correct size, medium at 5'7 and muscular 78kg and not need a bigger size that's too long in the arm. Quality seems great so far, its rugged, warm and looks great wish I could give five stars but..... Lost a star as the zip is really fiddly and I can't see myself being able to do up with gloves in winter, in fact at the moment I am finding it difficult enough that i am leaving the zip a little done up and putting on like a hoodie. Also if i could change anything I might have placed a double zipp on this warm jacket to allow for more air flow if you get too warm. Overall very happy with jacket. It's winter now and i have been wearing the jacket since late Autumn. It's been great, the zip has become easier as the material has broken in. I'd love to give it 5 stars but the fleece inner is breaking up a bit and the lower pockets let the wind and wet in as there is no canvas behind them. Still really like the jacket and have found a Carhartt Full Swing for the colder weather.

Great coat, fits well. Read the full review.
Sat on the fence in buying this for a while due to the conflicting reviews about sizing. IF you go by the sizing chart for this item, I'd suggest going down a size, as it doesn't match up. I'm in the UK, 5'10", 15 stone, and an XL in everything (too many sweets, too little exercise), but according to the sizing chart I should've got an XXL. I took a punt, and ordered the XL. It fits great. Arm length size is fine, cost length is fine, and I could easily wear a hoodie underneath it and still do it up. It might be a little snug, and probably very warm, but I could. The Sherpa lining is only on the body and hood, the sleeves are lined with the normal shiny lining you get on some coats, but there is some kind of insulating between the lining and outer layer. It weighs quality, it's not a light jacket, which I like in a winter coat. There are elastic draw strings to tighten up the bottom of the jacket, and the hood just has a shoelace type draw cord. I've added some spring toggles to the hood cord, as if you did pull it tighter, it would otherwise not stay tight, unless you tied a pretty bow under your neck with both ends. No idea if I'll ever tighten it, but they're there if I want to. Overall very pleased with this jacket. Can't wait for winter to come so I can actually wear it. I had a similar coat years ago, which is by far the best coat I've ever had, but years of hard wearing have finally killed it (continuously looking for a replacement, hence why I bought this now). This coat is equally as good as that one from what I can tell. Bought it in Carhartt brown.

Absolutely love this jacket, looks great and the build quality is amazing, triple stitched everywhere hidden toggles in the hood for pull corad adjustment pleated elbows and shoulders for great mobility and very comfortable! Medium fits me perfect not tight and not too baggy I tried both a large and medium and the large was HUGE I'm 5ft11 and weight about 90kg

I'm 5'11 225lbs muscular build. I ordered the XL tall. I live in Ottawa Canada so I needed a warm roomy coat like this. These reviews on here are all over the place and very inaccurate, some people say it's too big, it's too small . It's tough to go by all these *cough* wonderful *cough* reviews. For reference I wear large size t shirts from Walmart. I got an XL tall because L tall was sold out. The length of the coat is perfect but the sleeves are a bit long on me, I feel like the standard would have been too short on the coat as many have said, but the sleeves would have been better so pros and cons there. I'm not super tall but I wanted a longer coat. I would have preferred the large no doubt in my mind but I'm not swimming in the XL. It fits just how an XL jacket should fit. Next time I will get large, no biggie. Jackets are always going to be a bit bigger than t shirt sizes to allow for layering you silly people. Duh. The material is nice and tough the lining is very nice. The zipper is good quality. The front pockets are for HANDS not GEAR(stuff will fall out sideways) The strings to adjust the hood have an interesting design. The little beads you squeeze to choke up on the strings and keep them from moving are actually hidden inside the trim of the coat which is a classy little feature, they aren't swinging like every other coat out there. The gussets on the back of the shoulders allow full movement, you are not constricted in any way. The elastic in the cuffs is pretty tight but should loosen over time. Overall it's a fantastic jacket and I really have no real complaints. It's beautiful and built exceptionally well. I will have to see how long it will last. I'm a mason and work outside often in the winter so that will be a good test to the longevity of this coat and I will report back here when it receives damage for you guys. I have had bad experiences with Carhartt pants. The pants are so expensive and they did not last in my trade at all. Better off going dickies at half the price FOR PANTS that's just my opinion on that. I will be buying the Bartlett again 100%. At the $174 I paid here on Amazon I think I the quality surpasses the price.
