I bought the RRX as an upgrade from my JS32M and I am not disappointed at all. The active pickups are scorching hot with the tone a bit more towards the low-mid range compared to the SD Invaders pickups I have in my older Jackson, but there is so much more note clarity even with the highest gain settings. (Active vs Passive arguments not withstanding). The only complaint I have is the guitar strap pegs and input jack plate weren't screwed down all the way, which is an easy fix especially if you plan to add your own strap locks. I've played with this guitar for 3 live gigs so far and absolutely love it. Shipping was great, no damage except for typical dings on the outside box you'd expect

Best guitar ever for metal!
This guitar is the best guitar I've ever played in my life!!! I've been playing guitar for 23 years and this thing is just amazing! Active Pickups, neck-through body, low action, sick appearance, floyd rose bridge that works perfectly! What else do we need?! I definitely recommend buying this guitar with this budget for playing metal!!!! I LOVE THIS GUITARRR!
