I bought this for my son-in-law his waist was 54 in I went through three orders and 5x is perfect do not go by the size chart it is supportive and it's helping him with his mobility I have one for myself but did not have as much trouble with sizing issues I bought mine from a different company but it looks the same. I needed a big boy brace! This fits the build but you cannot go by the size chart! Like I said he is a 54 inch waist and I had to get a 5X the instructions said he should be in a 2X that didn't work so we decided to try 7X that was way too big so I prayed and hoped going in the middle would be just right! The 5x was perfect

Very strong and sturdy brace. Was a life saver when I started getting muscle spasms in my lower back. Nothing was helping. I basically couldn’t walk for almost two weeks. I’m a large woman so I ended up ordering the 6x. I wore it for a week and could see a difference but it was a little big. I ended up ordering the 5x and it is perfect. Gives me the support I need. Great product. Runs big.

I liked the support the belt would offer however this runs larger than expected it's a lot wider than I need. I was hoping it would be something I could wear out and about under a jacket but it's definitely noticeable. Overall it did have a lot of support to it but just keep in mind the sizing when you order it does run a little larger.

Great brace! I suffer from lower back pain due to obesity, so I was unable to be active in an effort to lose weight because of my back pain (catch 22). I wear this when walking and dancing and it is pretty comfortable. I gave it only 4 stars because the aluminum stays can poke into your back and be uncomfortable. I recommend wearing a tank top underneath. Also, I did follow others advice on here as far as sizing. The widest part of my waist is 71 and according to the size chart I should have bought a 6xl. After reading the reviews and seeing it "ran big" I got the 5xl and it fits perfectly.

Item isn't tru to size much bigger the velcro dose not attached very well

Helps a lot with my 17 lbs 4 month old grandson!

This is a good back brace. It definitely has good support. And the extended sizes are great. Seems pretty durable. Time will tell!

Fits, but slides up every time I sit down.
