Helped my hair growth when combined with taoist soap regimen which involves scalp massage 4-5 times a week, taoist soap use 2-3 times a week, and collagen 2x a day (2 tablespoons is one dose) morning and evening. the collagen comes nicely packed, easy to open and close the container when need to quickly add it to my water - i find that you should drink it within 5 mins of mixing is better, otherwise get a stomach ache if i wait like 20-30 mins (as ive forgotten it once when watching tv). hydrolyzed is the best form, tho the level they hydrolyzed vary from company to company. skin also feels different if you take it twice a day, for a good 5-6 days in a row, you will already know its working, improved skin complexion too which is a bonus for me. yes collagen gets digested in the stomach, but it breaks down in the right ratio for the body to produce its own collagen, much easily then from normal foods, this is why bovine type works better than marine collagen for hair and skin. there is no taste in it even when mixed in water, just maybe texture. no smell either. overall decent collagen supplement for the price, its value for money. buy for yourself, your parents will also thank you, helps knees and bones (essential for women!).

Dissolve perfectly even in cold water , no weird taste or smell , I take 2 tablespoons dissolved in water generally, so far so good

Really love this collagen powder! I've subscribed! I put it in my diluted drinks and you can taste a slight change in the taste but it's nice and there's no smell to it. I'm sure it's working but I can't tell as I'm having a lot of vitamins and minerals as I'm on menopause (near the end of it). It says on the box to have 2 big scoops of the powder 2x a day. (It comes with a scoop) It is halal certified and found this to be the cheapest. Really happy with the product.

I have been a loyal customer of this brand for over 7 years now. It caters to all my requirements as it is halal/kosher, gluten free, sugar free with zero additives/preservatives. However, it is unsuitable for vegans/vegetarians as it’s sourced from cows. From my knowledge, it doesn’t contain any known allergens. Taste wise, it’s mostly bland and somewhat akin to a bone broth. The smell isn’t as noticeable either. You can always mask the taste by adding some other flavourings like vimto etc. Over the years, the quality has remained consistent albeit some batches are more readily dissolved than others. On its own, it’s a transparent pale yellow colour with water like consistency. Its alleged benefits for hair/skin and pain relief could be due to several other variables including one’s daily routine/diet so it wouldn’t do justice putting it down to just one product alone. Overall, really good value for money compared to other relatively more pricey products out there!

This is not tasteless. I bought it due to better value for money, having used other bovine collagens before. This one is slightly off putting. You can taste it in plain milk. I tried hot chocolate to mask the flavour but still the taste was there.
