Unrivaled 6" Mini Sub!
I've been using a pair of 6" Hippo's for 3 years now. If you know what you're doing with your subsonic filter and your enclosure (truly recommend overpowering 2x *NO CLIPPING in a small sealed box), you will be blown away with the tight response, amazing excursion, and surprsingly deep bass. For a 6" sub, they're really unrivaled in my experience. Massive Audio for the win. Hippo's all the way!

Good lord
Purchased 2 of these for my 1988 Eldorado, I have a weird fascination with smaller than normal things, such as these 6.5" subs. Had them professionally installed, and the installer even said they sounded a lot better than he expected. Very clear and deep base when put into a box with the proper air space and an amp to provide the wattage. I'm running a Hifonics Brutus BRX1516.1D

I planned on putting 6 of these under the rear seat of my truck but every one I get is junk the first one was dropped somewhere wasn't the shipping because the box wasn't damaged but the basket bent up bad didn't get a pic before sending back second one surround wasn't glued properly pic included and third one the leads were broken off one of the voice coils I thought they were made in America nope says on designed in California built in China but I'm guessing there is no quality control haven't even been able to see how they sound due to everyone being damaged

Quality control sucks
Great little subs this was the 4th one I have bought my only problem was the fact that quality control is half a$$ at best I didn't have time to send it back or I would have the rubber suround was not glued correctly and I had to fix a brand new sub 🙄 That's why it gets a low review
