Now, get The Sacred India Tarot Handbook. By popular demand, the 350-page Handbook is now available separately (apart from The Sacred India Tarot Deck) for those who wish to purchase the Handbook only. The Sacred India Tarot is unique in its synthesis of two mystical and meditational streams of world culture – the Tarot and Indian mythology. They blend amazingly well without compromising their own truths and cultural integrity. The Sacred India Tarot is the first and only Tarot deck to work solely within the parameters of sacred Indian mythology – almost the only living mythology today. Millions of people daily worship, or meditate upon, the deities depicted within. This gives The Sacred India Tarot an unmatched spiritual power and contemporary resonance. The Major Arcana depicts the archetypal forms of the gods and goddesses of India. The Indian epics, the Ramayana and Mahabharata, form two of the themes depicted in the suits of the Minor Arcana. Other themes in the suits include the life of the Buddha, and the great love story of the culture – that of Shiva and Parvati. The comprehensive, knowledgeable text in The Sacred India Tarot Handbook (which is also available as part of the Tarot deck) explains the illustrations as well as their context within the Tarot. It provides insights on various aspects of Tarot, Indian mythology, card meanings, doing readings, and also includes unique spreads using Indian symbolism. Review: Superb writing and information that crosses not only tarot - Found this book via Guru Arya’s YouTube channel and it’s not just informative to read tarot but touches on so many classic Vedic stories and themes that it feels meditative to read about even one card. It’s definitely more than tarot which belies the title. Enriching to say the least. Review: Depth and seriousness that is never extended to Tarot - I've seen the Tarot used in the west at best for personal growth, usually for predicting the future and often for entertainment. This book has a different take on it: the Tarot is it's own entity / path that deserves respect, even reverence. If you use it well it'll aid your growth as a tool of spirituality. If you read cards for others do it in a disciplined way so it doesn't create unwanted repercussions. The deck itself blends Hindu / Indian mythology with great skill so that it fits the structure of the Tarot rather than retrofitting an incompatible set of ideas. This book will change the way you look at the Tarot. It did for me.

Très intéressant
Adaptation du tarot de Waite (ou presque) à la mythologie et à la philosophie de l'Inde. Un point de vue intéressant. Plutôt pour les personnes qui ont une idée des concepts métaphysiques indiens.

Superb. Art could have been in color.
It is a fascinating read. You can learn so many things from this book. So many different layers and interconnectedness to the mystical tradition of India. If you know the stories from the Puranas, this book will sweeten and deepen your understanding of the stories and images. Also, remember to check out the YouTube channel of the writer. It is totally awesome. My only disappointment with this book is that the images of the tarots are on grayscale which totally dampens the artistic merit. I purchased the Kindle edition and I tend to read on my computer with large fonts and all, so if the art had all its colors, it would have been a richer experience. I would have purchased a paperback if it was available and affordable. Buying the tarot cards itself is in my to buy list. I would request the writer & publisher to update the electronic version with colorful images of the tarot cards. So, those who may not be able to buy the pricy tarot card version also could have a more enriching experience of this beautiful work of art where both writing and visual representation converge. Thank u so much.
