Excellent product
Used it for my leatherman Rebar. Its a bit tricky peeling off the tape cover and suggest using a razor or knife gently on the corner. Also make sure you thoroughly clean the surface it is adhereing to. The clip works great and also customer support by this company is fantastic - they stand behind ther product. Highy recommended!!!

Specialty Product that works exactly as its supposed to.
Great pocket slip for things without clips. Its is long enough to grab and hold but not so long as it is too long for many small objects, and is deep enough for pockets and belts and holds its shape over time. The 3M adhesive sticks when applied accoreding to directions and some common sense - its not for cloth or silicone, for example. I bought one of these in 2018 and had it on a clunky smartphone on my belt 6 days a week, for almost three years and the adhesive NEVER weakened. This is one of those products that does exactly what its supposed to do. I posted a brief video on how this made my favorite pocket multi tool better.

Don't go nuts getting the clip onto belt or pocket!
For a few weeks the HipClip on my phone drove me nuts. I could only get it slid onto my pants pocket, but not my belt. Pants pocket would jam too most of the time. Agonizing, cursing, not secure, full in many blanks. Then as it happens through my old mechanic's hands, I widened the clip's opening. How? - Slid my left thumb into the clip's flat side attached to my phone. - Held it down very firmly. - Grasped the curved section of the clip, and raised it roughly on a 30-40 degrees angle. It wasn't bending but widening. - Released both hands to check it out. Pleased to announce that my newest HipClip now has about 1/8" of a gap. The gap matches the HipClip on my personal digital voice recorder from 10 years ago .. so at some point I had adjusted it too, obviously! Both the phone and voice recorder glide securely, easily onto my belt and the thicker pockets of my tactical shorts. Tip #1: if you want to try this adjustment on your clip, do it before adhering the clip to the device. I did mine after, and 1/4" of the bond has pulled up from the phone. I have spare 3M very high bond (VHB any hardware store for hanging heavy frames), so I'll replace it if it pulls up anymore. Tip #2: find a short lanyard and loop it into the HipClip. No drops of the phone getting out of the car. Former Cliphanger user (had good experiences). Tip #3: realize the clip is more like a hook or hanger. The grip of the clip, it isn't a spring-loaded thing that'll hold onto anything. But it's hanging on my belt very tightly. And I can see the screen so easily, can unlock phone, tap on something, extract from belt so quickly. Not 5 stars because I had to discover the adjustment myself. Probably on YT someone has shown it. Instructions could show it easily.

A nice clip to mount the MP3 player to my collar
A very useful mount for my collection of MP3 players, to hook them to my collar (I still use wired headphones to listen to music).

Best Smartphone Accessory, Even If You Already Have A Case
The perfect accessory for any smart phone. I have a Galaxy Note10+, with the "Encased" Belt Clip Case (AMZN# B07VXRYLZR). The fit should be similar to most "Shell Holster Combo" type cases of similar design. This clip fits perfectly on the top section of the kick stand. It allows my phone to suspend in my pocket (keeping pocket lint from damaging the ports and speaker), while still maintaining a slim profile, and allowing my camera/flashlight to be exposed if I need to inconspicuously record a crazy ex while picking up the kids, or see in the dark while having two free hands. The only undesirable part about the clip is that it could be thinner. The bump out pushes the limit of some thinner dash mounts. Doesn't affect me, but it looks close. Word to the wise. Make sure you let the adhesive set for at least an hour to get 75% bond strength. The 3M VHB adhesive is a strong bond, but only if you clean the surface properly and leave it alone to adhere. This is clearly explained in the instructions, but it can easily be overlooked because of the detail they go into without pictures. Overall, very pleased with the purchase. I am glad to get rid of the pocket bulk for better functionality.

Worked for my flashlight, just not the greatest
I put this in my olight diffuse flashlight. It said to let sit for 24 hours so I did,I have been carrying it for a few weeks now and it is still sticking.Onky downside is that the light does not stay straight up and down because the clip does not have enough tension or tension area. But,it works and I don’t want to take it off and deal with all the sticky stuff and cleaning it to try another brand clip, for now,it will do and is worth the money vs the inconvenience of taking it off and getting a refund

Not a grippy clip!
Very disappointed with this purchase. The knife clip did not hold on to my denim pants pocket sufficiently well which caused it to fall out when I put my hand in it. It happened once or twice in the house so I was careful whenever I clipped it on my pocket. Needless to say that it fell out when I was at the market and now I am knife less THANKS for causing me to lose my new Swiss Army knife.

What a cool stick on clip I followed directions and it worked perfect, I wanted a clip a clip on my farmer x after a day of letting it cure , I was amazed how good it worked it's on there very good, makes my KNIFE much better to carry , doesn't weight down my pocket.it fit the farmer x perfect. If you need a clip on something I recommend nite Ice clip it will work if you follow the simple directions. ...

I bought this clip as a pocket solution to my Victorinox 91mm SAKs. I was very excited. The Swissqlip I spent sh*tloads of money on is very big and bulky so I was looking forward to something a little more “slim-line”. Various instructions and users saying how one must leave the clip on for 3 days or something crazy before use were possibly right, but this was not necessary, unless you are planning on pulling a train with the clip (which would actually snap before the glue would fail). -The clip adheres EXTREMELY strongly. So much so that removing it (with a knife) actually nearly pulled off the scales of my SAK from the tool itself. So kudos to 3M for their industrial strength glues. The problem and reason why I won’t be using this clip, lies in the fact that the metal used to construct the clip itself is too flexible. It’s nice and thin, and shiny, and a good size for a SAK but ultimately, TOO thin. And TOO flexible. It will allow a SAK to slide in to the pocket with ease, thanks to the inward (?) slope of the base plate, but the light weight of a SAK is not enough for it to clip securely to the pocket flap. A kitten could theoretically nose out my SAK from my pocket. I use many tools for work and several multi tools on my person are invaluable. I need to rely that when I put my work trousers on at the beginning of the day that everything is already in place. Nothing missing. I wouldn’t bet on any small pocket sized tool lasting very long with this clip attached. I spend a fair amount of my work time on my front and on my back and crouching down, bending over, climbing through bushes etc. I would be nervous that the SAK would be missing by the end of the day. There is no way (that I can tell) to be able to adjust the retention of the metal. The “base plate” prevents one from being able to over-bend it, like one can with a screw-on type pocket clip. WAIT. That’s it! I’ll just saw it down to enough to attach to the knife somewhere near the metal fold and reapply some amazing 3M tape. And I can bend it! I don’t think I’ll be able to “report back” here but that’s not the point. The point is, in its current state I do not trust it. Thanks for reading. J

Se lo coloque a una multiherramientas victorinox (swisstool), quedo perfecta y el adhesivo que tiene es bastante durable, gracias a este clip la lultiherramientas se vuelve mas cómoda de usar y el material con el que esta hecha es muy resistente
