Review: Helps with Migraines! - I've had this for about a week now and all I can say is...WOW! My son, who also gets migraines, told me about this having heard about it from his girlfriend who also gets headaches. I went ahead, crossed my fingers and ordered it. I have severe degenerative arthritis in my shoulders and spine. I also get migraines. The day after this was delivered, I woke up with a migraine brewing and my 'normal' pain in my neck and shoulders--this chronic pain causes a lot of anxiety and tension in me and I knew it was going to be bad. I followed the directions and gave it a try. The key here is to be gentle and not overdo it. I'm happy to say that my headache went away after about 15 minutes and did not blow up like it usually does. On top of this, my neck and shoulder muscles felt relaxed and not 'tight' at all. So far, every day I just use the blocks for a few minutes (you need to build up) and no headaches, no tightness and lots of relief! I'm pretty happy! Review: Godsend for back, neck & muscle tension headaches! - I have a history of neck and back issues. Always looking for ways to be proactive & keep up my active lifestyle. The Essential Tension Headache Trigger Point Tool is a Godsend! Means less trips to chiropractor, massage therapist and physical therapy. I don't leave home without it...it's in my suitcase when I travel. I use the base and top portion for my neck. I use just the top piece for under my back & hips. I've also purchased them for family members and my massage therapist. You won't regret purchasing & will wonder why you didn't do it sooner!

Quite the Contraption
I purchased this to relieve some migraine pressure points and to alleviate neck related stress. I later found it useful for kneading an achy muscle as well, particularly in your back. This thing is heavy and it's quite hard, so when you use it, it's not like using a foam ball, pillow, or tennis ball. It definitely feels like a piece of equipment that a physical therapist would use. The top portion of the device easily disconnects and reconnects with the bottom base, so if you find that it's too large and hard for your comfort, you can detach the top and it provides a little less pressure to the area that you're treating. For me, when needed, it has helped. I would recommend this product.

Highly Recommend
So I was very skeptical of this at first. I tried it for a few days, and yes I could feel the pressure, but it felt like it was bruising me more than actually getting knots out. It wasn’t until day 5 that I really started to understand how this amazing product works. I woke up with a massive pain in my shoulder blade, got this out, laid on it at a slight angle and within 2 minutes I could literally hear and feel the knot release - such an amazing feeling. I’ve used it a few times a week ever since and would highly recommend this product!

This block is way too expensive. My head ended up hurting more after using it. I can handle deep tissue massage but this just didn't work for me.

Start slow, build up. Well made. Fine product.
Ok this is definitely worth exploring. But be aware the purple lumps are very firm. I used it too long on the first try and got an occular migraine- which goes to show you it’s very effective at affecting blood flow-,go easy at first. Cranio sacral therapy is very gentle yet effective. This is a little more aggressive but start slow—

Same as two softballs next to each other.
It's definitely not worth the money. I love thai massage and deep massage and anything that'll help with my chronic headaches. This just doesn't--it's basically the same thing as if you took a tennis ball or softball and put it against the wall and worked out your pressure points. I think you'd have better luck with a foam roller and tennis balls than with this.

Skeptical? It works for headaches!
My chirorpactor and massage therapist recommended this device to combat my headaches and migraines. I was very skeptical but I have now recommended to several people myself! If you can feel your headaches or migraines coming this will likely work for you. I put it at the base of my skull for about ten minutes and it is near instant relief. Sometimes it will help stive off any pain and sometimes it just makes it bearable. I’ve used it occasionally when my head feels foggy as well. If you suffer from headaches or migraines I highly recommend it. I love that I have a go-to option that isn’t a drug
