Better than the original!
Let me start by saying that it is amazing that I was able to find the replacement mic because it is getting pretty pricey to replace the headset themselves. I have about 3-4 that stopped working or the mic broke off. Anyway, this mic fit perfect (w/o any fit issues) and it works great. My son (11yrs) loves this mic better than the original. He is able to adjust it pretty far back and his friends can still hear him. He loves that it came with an extra sponge:) I’m thinking of buying another one to have as backup.

great first impression...
sometimes you take a chance on something. sure, its a small bet. but it can pay big. and that's the story of me buying from this company. exactly the right part for exactly the right reason. they KNEW what I didn't like about my brand new headset. they made (and tested before shipping) a boom mic that works exactly how i was going to have made it myself. but now i don't have to make it myself. and they put a personal note in the package as if to say "...thank you for watching me hit a grand slam today. if my grand slam was not to your liking, i'll do it again to make sure it is to your liking..." well done for sure! i wish they made/sold custom memory foam cushions for my headset.

First one was DOA, second one broke after a month.
The first mic I ordered came DOA, no matter how you plugged it in, it wouldn’t pick up my voice. Amazon sent a replacement with next day delivery, and the second one worked. I was happy until today, it has the same problem as the other one. Static but it doesn’t pick up my voice. Also foam wind covers were incorrect size and will fall off easily. Look somewhere else for a replacement.
