Ortho Home Defense Max Bed Bug Killer Spray - Bed Bug Spray for Home, Also Kills Fleas & Brown Dog Ticks, Spot Treatment, 18 oz

This was shipped with a food item. Cap was off and there was some spray in the box. It was not much and the can did not appear to be missing much but seriously, who packs poison with food???Anyway I'm not going to hurt the product review with that. The product seems to work well. Have these tiny bugs that nothing seems to kill and this worked well. It doesn't have an unpleasant smell but I still wear masks spraying poison. It did drip on a cloth item and it stained it. So be careful around fabrics. I have wrist issues so not having to squeeze a handle was very convenient. Other than the staining issue, which I admittedly have not tried to remove yet because it was not a concern, highly recommend!

Works great, used on my wooden bed frame and edges/seems of my mattress and box spring, haven't felt a bite sinceOnly complaint is the spray isn't always consistent, sometimes foam, sometime a liquid spray or it even stopped completely, had to stop and reshake it multiple times

This item works best in an empty house. Not what I needed for the houses I lived in. The other product by ortho the bed bug tick and flea with the spray wand is my go to product. In the room that these bugs are in, I use the wand product and spray it everywhere, additional I clean the rest of the hard floors in the house with a bleach and water mixture and being I share a bathroom, I spray the ceramic title floor with rubbing alcohol before I go into it especially around the toilet. Let me start by saying now that I have experience with this issue, my boyfriend brought these bugs into my house 4 times. In short if you have a nested item throw it out, if you have carpet stream clean it, otherwise vacuum the rug and immediately empty canister in the trash outside then clean the vacuum. Three different houses. With that being said in the beginning I didn't know what to do. The first time, I moved us to one of my other houses and left everything behind. Went back and threw out the couch and the beds. The second time, I moved to another house, but this time I caught it earlier, only had to throw out the item that they nested in which was the couch. Mattress were already in encasements from my last lesson. The third time was the quickest I had ever gotten rid of them. He was at this point sleeping on an inflatable mattress. Threw out the mattress and steam cleaned the carpet. Our clothes were already in plastic totes. The fourth time I washed my sheets everyday then vacuumed the washed all the hardwood and ceramic floor with bleach and water mix. Every time I used the bathroom I sprayed the ceramic floor with rubbing alcohol. And then his room is sprayed everywhere with the ortho bed bug flea and tick spray wand product. Under the rugs edges, bed frame, between the encased box spring and mattress along the floor boards, around all the furniture. All laundry travel from his room in plastic bags right to the washer. To whom ever may have this issue I truly wish you the best. I bought everything and these where the products the worked for me.

Didn't work

The most effective spray I've used before. Non staining. Creates a barrier, and if the little buggers crawl across they're dead before they make it. No noxious smell .Solved my problem 100%

This was a great buy! Had to search for a bug killer asap and this does the job! (Of course you need to throw all the infested beddings to be 100% sure) i used this as soon as i saw that community of bed bugs under my sofa. I have fish tanks inside my room, so i had to choose organic spray.. It kills the bugs in seconds, but is super friendly to my fish tanks (fish are fine after the whole room was sprayed) plus it has a very little smell so its friendly if you also have sinusitis like i do. I highly recommend this!
