Toolwiz 6mm Tyre Inflator Connector, Push-On Air Chuck Brass Valve Adapter

A pair of cheap air compressor tyre inflation connectors from China. I've been using them & they are absolutely perfect! Good quality & nice positive fit to the tyre valve.

Bought to replace a broken flimsy chuck on a tyre pump. Had to cut the old one off to fit the new one. The included jubilee clip is poor quality and has to be tightened massively to get the hose to seal on the chuck. The new chuck seems to fit on valves reasonably well, a bit wobbly perhaps, and the tyre does inflate.

Even from when it was brand new my 12 volt electric tyre pump had a slightly dodgy tyre valve connector. Really I should have immediately sent the whole thing back to Amazon for a full refund! Instead I lived with it for over a year until it finally became impossible to use. I knew the electric pump itself was still ok so I didn't want to scrap it and then have to pay another £30 - £40 or more for another new electric pump. For £6, including Prime free delivery, I ordered a pair of these Toolwiz 1/4 Inch brass tyre valve connectors . They arrived the next day. Using a sharp knife it was very easy to cut through the rubber tube where it came out from the broken old connector, which is noew in the rubbish bin. After I placed the clip over the end of the tube I inserted the new connector and tightened-up the clip. As I'd hoped, the pump immediately worked well again. I shall keep the second new connector as a spare but they are so well made I doubt I shall ever use it myself - it would be good to give to friend or relation if they ever need to replace a broken tyre valve connector!

I had mixed feelings about this product based on some of the reviews but thought for the price, what the hell. The product feels well made and fitted onto the end of my electric air pump tightly. Much easier to connect onto the tyre than trying to screw the air pump hose on. However, when you come to inflate the tyre, the pressure gauge on the air pump does not show the right pressure. It seems to measure about 10psi less than the actual pressure so you have to check the pressure with an independent hand pressure gauge. So I give it 3* on this basis. It is a pity it is impacting the gauge on the air pump by so much.

Does the job

Arrived on time and well packed. Replaced old inflation valve connector with the quick release chuck. Tried on bike valve. Quick attachment and no leak whilst inflating tyre and quick release with no air escape. Definitely better abd quicker than the old screw-on system. Highly recommend.

These tyre inflator connectors appeared to be made of good quality materials and well manufactured. So I cut the troublesome connector from my caravan tyre inflator and attached one of these. It fitted snugly on the tyre and its lever snapped shut to secure. Pumped up the tyre as usual then at about 35psi, the connector simply let go releasing the air. I tried several times but with the same result. I replaced the connector with the other that came as a pair, and the same happened again. So I had to try and refit my original connector and continued inflati g to 49psi! Can not recommend this product.

It's precisely as it looks like. Those parts do fail after s time. Now I can change them instead of a new one 🤷‍♂️Looks fine, thanks 👍🙏

Works as expected. The brass part and chuck are great. The clamps are useless Chinese crap which I had replaced with actually working usa made clamps.
