Walker 46943 Direct Fit Exhaust Resonator and Pipe Assembly for Honda Civic

I ordered this for my 2000 Honda civic ex coupe. Fit perfectly with no issues. The welds are not the best. But it stopped the noise of not having a muffler. This was only the mid section of the exhaust. Very happy with the purchase and shipping.

My 1998 Civic EX began sounding like a Harley after the exhaust broke in half going down the highway. I used a temporary fix for a while until I ordered this assembly. Walker has a page on their website to make sure you get the right one so make sure you do that first. [...] The install was pretty simple for the most part. Spray the bolts/nuts that connect to the catalytic converter with some liquid wrench/pb blaster first because you don't want those to break off while removing. Also you might have to restrain the old assembly from rotating while removing those nuts. You can wedge a long screwdriver in there to prevent that. One issue you should know about with these assemblies. On the stock assembly, there are nuts welded into the flange that connect to the muffler by bolts. The Walker assembly I got did not have this, so you will have to find some nuts to use with the stock bolts, or order a new bolt/nut set. I just happened to have some nuts that I found in the garage. The assembly sounds great, just like stock.

It looks like it was for a coupe. About a foot too short for my sedan. Otherwise good quality.

It was exactly what I ordered. I had to modify it (which was no problem). Come to find out Amazon has the exact part with no modification required, if I would have continued to research. It work out though. Great part, good quality....I am pleased.

Fast shipping. Walker quality fit with oem sound. I always use new hardware and gaskets to avoid any istallation issues. Now I can hear my radio again !
