Bit of a learning curve, but it's amazing.
I have been working out off and on for about ten years. Aggressively at times, but mostly casually. I did endurance lifting and cardio with some strength training in bursts. I figured with me being comfortable with heavy weights(curling 50 lb dumbbells comfortably and benching 100lb dumbbells for full reps) that I should go with the heaviest mace. Luckily, I dialed it back and went with the 25lb. It definitely whooped me at first. I used youtube tutorials to learn basic moves but could barely get through them. Mainly because you have to control each swing or you risk kneecapping yourself or tearing something. It's been a month and a half now and with intermittent use, I'm able to control it much more easily and have branched out to more advanced moves. I feel so much stronger. I had hit a plateau at the gym and was having trouble getting motivated again, but maces seem so much more fun and rewarding. My arms have already grown about a 1/4 of an inch and my wife said my shoulders and arms are starting to show more definition. She even ordered a 10lb mace that I use for warm-ups and lighter exercises. I'll probably order heavier and lighter maces down the line once I save up more, since I can tell this is a very versatile piece of equipment. It's definitely helping me think outside the gym and now all I have to do, is walk out in the backyard and start swinging. Just make sure there aren't any pets or children around you. This thing could do some damage, for sure. Which is probably an added plus for all you zombie preppers out there.

Yes4All Steel Mace Bell for Strength Training
My husband recently started using the Yes4All Steel Mace Bell for strength training, and it has been a game-changer for him. As someone newly disabled, finding an effective workout routine was challenging, but this mace bell has been perfect for his needs. In just a few short weeks, I've noticed a remarkable improvement in his strength and muscle tone. The transformation is incredible and has significantly boosted his confidence and overall well-being. The Yes4All Steel Mace Bell is exceptionally sturdy and well-constructed, providing a reliable and safe workout tool. It fits comfortably in the palm of his hands, making it easy to use and control during various exercises. The design ensures a firm grip, even during intense workouts. For the cost, this mace bell is well worth the investment. It offers excellent value and has made a noticeable difference in my husband's fitness journey. If you're looking for a high-quality, effective strength training tool, I highly recommend the Yes4All Steel Mace Bell.

Great alternative to dumbells
I like that the mace targets more muscle groups with one exercise technique. It's easy to get started with and even with a light weight and a few days a week I am noticing improvement in my upper body strength, especially back and shoulders. It has good grips and I can easily grasp it even with sweaty hands. I'm especially glad it is working my wrist muscles and providing strength training to a full range of motion. I highly recommend this for anyone that has trouble doing a bunch of different sets of exercises with different weights and motions. The only downside to training with this that I can even think of is that it requires plenty of room to be able to freely move around without knocking stuff over, but it really is the only downside that I can come up with to consider. Over all it takes up little space to store and you only need enough space to be able to stand and rotate it around, which does require more space than doing curls or should presses but it gives you a fuller range of muscle group work and that makes it worth it.

Great unconventional workout equipment; some chafing and blistering possible
Pros: - challenging workout - fun if you're not a fan of traditional barbells and weights Cons: - blistering/chafing possible; watch out if you have softer hands - movements will need some getting used to; don't be reckless I got this mace recently after my interest was piqued seeing one of my friend's MMA instructors post a video on how to use it. Further research told me that it was great for working out arms, shoulders and back, which was something I sorely needed working at a desk all day. I was recommended a lower starting weight (10 to 15 pounds), which was surprising at first but I quickly found out why. Having the majority of the mass centered toward one end makes for ballistic, dynamic movements that really challenge you, even if the mace is only 10 to 15 pounds. It was the most fun I had strength training/conditioning, and I usually hate that kind of training. The only reason why I don't give this product 5 stars is because my hands chafe and blister extremely easily, and my the skin on my right thumb has basically been scraped off after two sessions due to the rough handle at the tail end of the mace. Otherwise I love it and I think it's fantastic; definitely will order a heavier weight once I become accustomed to this one.

My Son Loves It โ Great Quality and Heโs Already Upgraded Twice
I got the 15 lb mace for my son, and he loves it. The steel has that solid, smooth, matte feel to it โ heavy in a good way, with a handle that has enough grip without feeling rough. He said it feels balanced when he swings it, and the weight sits perfectly toward the end, which gives that real rotational strength feel. He ended up liking it so much that heโs already upgraded twice to heavier ones. This one held up great, no chipping or loose spots, and he still grabs it for warmups. Durable, well made, and clearly something he got a lot of use out of.

Fun, effective way to build stronger, more resilient shoulders
I absolutely love this thing. My shoulders have always given me trouble, so I started watching videos focused on strengthening and improving shoulder stability, and this kept coming up as a recommended tool. After using it for a couple of weeks, I can see why. Swinging it around is actually fun, which makes it easy to stay consistent. You can feel your shoulders, upper back, and grip working together, especially during longer sets. It feels very different from traditional dumbbell or machine exercises and seems to encourage more natural, controlled movement. Itโs only been a short time, but I already understand why people talk about building โbulletproof shouldersโ with this style of training. It challenges stability and coordination in a way that feels productive rather than stressful on the joints. If youโve dealt with shoulder issues or are looking to strengthen them without relying only on machines, this is a great addition to a workout routine. Start controlled, focus on form, and it becomes an effective and enjoyable tool.

Nearly industructible and at an excellent price! Highly recommended for fitness enthusiasts!
I have spent some time trying to find a traditional 25 lb. sledgehammer to use for both demolition work around the house and as a maceball. I could never find a sledgehammer that was satisfactory. I finally broke down and bought this 25 lb maceball at just under $90 CDN. It was always my first choice anyway and significantly less expensive than a sledgehammer. Now that I have it, I love it. It is my second maceball (my first one was a 15 lb maceball) from this manufacturer. The construction is solid. These are nearly indestructible, I appreciate the simplicity of the maceball and it was extremely less expensive than a sledge. I would absolutely recommend this maceball to any fitness enthusiast!!

Solidly built.
Sturdy, solid, sits funny on the floor and might topple over without care, and with a loud bang. As an exercise tool, one of my favourites. Might be handy in a zombie apocalypse, though not my first choice for that. Forget about it if you subscribe to the fast zombie theory.
