The Board Dudes: Cork Board - Oak Frame (24" x 36")

We have used this in our office to hang our children's artwork on. It is both sturdy and well made, and we are very pleased with the functionality and affordability of this cork board. It said it could take several weeks to ship (we weren't in a hurry) but it revised the ship date and arrived within a few days. I don't know if that will always apply, but it is possible to get it much quicker than anticipated. I highly recommend this product!

This is a really nice board and for the price can't be beat! I looked locally in town for a board but the quality was not good and the prices were ridiculous. Of course Amazon came through for me once again! As always! I made this into a jewelry holder and it was perfect size for that. The picture is my completed jewelry holder. I simply painted the trim in gold and cut fabric to fit the center and applied with spray glue. Then I added ribbon around the edges so you don't see any uneven cuts from the fabric. Ta da! Now my necklaces can hang without getting all tangled up in my jewelry box. It saves me a little bit of sanity and lots of time not untangling necklaces.

I mounted a map of the Caribbean on this thing and I put push pins in when I visit different countries. The board is solid and it was MUCH cheaper than framing the map and I also made it functional. I dont have anywhere to put it though so its always in my way. Quality board, pins go in it and it holds stuff up. Cheap frame alternative. Why frame it when you can just stab it up on a bulletin board? lol

Solid, sturdy, well-built and clean looking bulletin board. The strong backing makes the board very sturdy and durable. The wood (veneer, I think) frame is well-built (corners come together flush, etc) and looks nice. Given the size, quality, and look of this board, I'd say it's a great deal for what it costs.

Nice Board. I went with the "screw through the cork board" installation method. It was packed well and I like the light oak color around the boarder. Hangs right beside my oak Desk. Used the hollow wall anchors to attach to the wall. I used a larger drill bit to insert the anchors into the wall and then a smaller drill bit to drill through the board. (same size bit as the screws.) Took 12 minutes to hang.

I ordered two of these boards, and am satisfied with their quality. The frames are actually heavier than I thought they would be, which I take to be a sign of quality. The cork itself appears to be thick enough to hold up to a good amount of use. The mounting hardware these boards come with, though, is ridiculous. Board Dudes give you tiny screws and hooks, which the instructions say to put on the sides of the frame (not the top). I didn't bother with the tiny screws, because they did not look like they would support the frame well. Instead, I drilled holes through the frame's sides and hung them on the wall using screws and wall anchors. They look very handsome on the wall.

We received the board within two days thanks to Prime shipping. What can I say? It's a cork board. It's not a product that I'm going to get too excited about but the board seems to be a quality board. It's serving it's purpose well as it's already covered with calendars and paper projects that the kids made. You won't be disappointed.

The thumb tacks go RIGHT THROUGH the board. This is a problem for two reasons: 1) the tacks don't really stay in very well. 2) the tacks are scratching the wall behind the cork board. The mounting sent was frustrating because you had to put it together yourself and it split the side so I had to find another way to attach the board to the wall. In short it is a total piece of junk. It is too bad because it doesn't look bad.
