Fellow Big Jo Double Wall Insulated Ceramic Coffee Mug, 12 oz Matte White

The mugs are beautiful, feel sturdy in the hand and I just hand wash them and they come out great every time. I just don’t let coffee sit on them for too long and I take care of them, but I’ve never had an issue with any lingering staining on my white one. It’s an awesome mug.

I really loved this mug aesthetically but the quality is lacking. I’ve only had it for 2 months, outside the return window now, but the inside wall has a crack and the film on the bottom is peeling. I have cleaned it carefully and according to instruction. I’d prefer it was a little bigger as it does not hold the entire 480g (16.9oz) pour over I make each morning so I end up drinking it divided when using this mug. I do love the grip on this mug, the lip when drinking, and it keeps my coffee a perfect temp with the double wall.

I have a few Fellow products that I love, and was hoping this would be another. Unfortunately, these cups have too many design flaws. The 8oz is a great size to hold, but its mouth is too small to use an Aeropress without the funnel. The 12oz Big Jo’ is huge. An Aeropress fits on the top without a funnel. But the cup is just too big. I have large hands, and it’s annoying to hold or pick up. The rim on both cups is quite wide. I think that contributes to the messiness of the cup. Coffee drips down the side after every sip. For $25-30 each, these are not worth it.

So far, this mug is as close to perfect as any coffee mug I've had: 1. The double walled construction keeps the coffee warm noticeably longer than a standard ceramic or porcelain mug 2. The ceramic construction prevents the coffee from staying piping hot for too long (unlike those "Abominable Snowman" mugs, which keep coffee scorching hot for most of the day), so you can actually enjoy it a short time after pouring it. 3. As someone with a beefy meat hook of a hand whose always found coffee mug handles to be vestigial, at best, the handle-less design combines with a size that's nearly perfect for my hand (probably not so great for folks with smaller hands) and a solid heft to make for a pleasant experience holding the mug - especially on a cold morning, when the slight warming of the outside surface is just enough to be pleasant, without being uncomfortable.

Bought for my sister and she said she loved it. No matter how hot the liquid is in the mug the outside stays nice to hold

It's a very beautiful cup. Doesn't keep my coffee warmer any longer than my single-walled ceramic cup. Very disappointed. Later addition: I ended up returning the cup.
