Truck model plastic kit
I highly recommend this. I bought this probably five years ago their car model kits.

Nice kit of a classic rig.
Glad AMT has been releasing these classic kits. I plan on making this tractor a day cab (not building it with the sleeper). Only issue I have is AMT including fancy chrome wheels or Dayton spoke wheels with all their kits. I wish they would include some BUDD two hole disk wheels so one could model some of these fleet trucks better. Most fleet trucks back then did not have aluminum/chrome wheels. The Dayton style is ugly to me and it gets old seeing it in every truck kit.

かなりの難キットです。
このキットは、かなりストレスを感じるキットです。 難点をあげればキリがありません。まず、組み立てどうこう言う前に パーツが一つ足りませんでした。Fifth Wheelという後部トレーラーと接続する 重要な皿の部分のパーツが入っていませんでした。 これは偶然手元にあった過去の余剰パーツの中から見つかりましたので なんとか助かりましたが... 特に難しい部分は、シャーシーの組み立て時、左右の大きなフロント・スプリングパーツを 取り付けるのですが、シャーシーにガイドがありませんし、AMTの説明書にも 指示がないので全く取り付け方が分かりません。 結局、左右のパーツを位置もわからず勘で取り付けることになるのですが、 これで前輪の位置が決まってしまいますので１～２ミリのズレが あとあと問題にならないか心配になります。 これだけではなく、このキットはとにかく疲れます... AMTがこのトラックを作るための素材を提供してくれているというぐらいの 諦めの気持ちで組み立てた方が良いです。
