Great cable and works with the Garmin express software
Great cable that enables you to update the maps just fine, it did not work with my windows 10 pc but that could be more a laptop / windows issue? but it worked great on my windows 7 pc. It will enable you to update the maps and that what i did with my drive 40 which has not been updated for a couple of years due to not using it much at all.

Longer than I thought.
I am sure the product functions as described and looks quite well made. However I thought I was buying a cable 1m long not 1.5m.i would not normally be so fussed, but the cable was bought for the car. I had used a pair of longer charging cables previously, but I discovered the combined weight of them appeared to drag on the USB connector.This caused intermittent charging indications, which affected the charging of my SAT Nav. So on occasion the Sat Nav shut down, due to lack of power. Not a problem with the actual product, but the reason for not being entirely satisfied.
