Just received this as my “New Year” pressie to myself. It was on the expensive side but from what I can see of all the parts etc, it is well worth the price. So many items, such as, five sets of paints, some of them are the larger tubes, pads of paper, palettes and papers, canvas packs with a fantastic framed canvas set of two very large sizes. Overall, I can’t wait to get started on the setting up of the easel and exploring the vast quantity of supplies. One very excited customer! But….. one small point, it mentions a craft knife on the details, but that was not included, possibly for safety reasons? But as a crafter I have knives already so will transfer my best one to this kit. Thank you MEEDEN I love it!!

Very pleased with this. The easel alone is great and worth the money. I cannot yet comment on the quality of the paint or brushes, (although the brushes look fine) or any of the other items but if I discover any issues, I'll update the review. I can say, if you are after a good easel and want to know if the quality is as described, it is, it folds up nice and compact and is relatively sturdy with a decent amount if storage. I really like the way in which the tray pulls out allowing you to use it as a place to store brushes and paint below the canvas whilst your working. The service and delivery was great and on time.

High quality product - met all expectations. My only comment would be that the paints, which arrive inside the easel drawer, had all broken out of their flimsy packaging. Would be better if they were packed separately, like the brushes and canvases.

I’ve been using pastels for a few years and want to move onto oil painting as well now. This was a Xmas press to myself (Via husband) and it’s just wonderful. It’s given me so much choice now and I’m only restricted by my own imagination.

Really good value for money, you can tell they haven’t skimped on quality or quantity. I’m extremely happy.

This set contains everything you need to start painting. The quality is superb, particularly the eisel, beautiful beech wood. The clever way it folds up into a case for other items is fantastic. Would highly recommend this set for quality and value for money.

The quality of the easel it very nice, thick wood and sturdy. The only thing I changed is where they have a smooth head screw and wing nut inside the storage area I reversed it so the wing nut was outside the storage area so I could get more loaded in the storage space without the wing nut getting in the way. Works great! The storage area is much larger, two levels, than I was expecting and holds all the water color and acrylic paints in the bottom portion and a few left went in the top tray drawer in the back which is totally visible still when the drawer is pulled out all the way. I don’t use oil paints so I didn’t load them into the easel. A trick I used to keep the paints organized and easy to find what color you want fast and not just randomly thrown in, was to actually cut the black tray they came in, for the acrylic paints I divided it so each section was cut to hold four tubes of paint and they lay in the bottom storage areas perfectly and then put a second layer on top of them. The water color tubes are smaller and the black plastic part of the trays fit perfectly only having to cut it in half to fit. The top tray drawer portion it also totally removable & options to put in the provided wooden dividers, which I didn’t because I found it would have a more flexible storage area without them, it holds the pallet knives, color wheel, water color and acrylic paper tablets, pallet paper, plastic paint pallet and wooden paint pallet, which I will use to cover the drawer top once it’s extended out to use that area as a kind of table top to work off of, oh and I put the unfold instructions in there too for reference until I get the hang of it. The paint brushes are legit Artist brushes much to my surprise, they come in their own cases which is nice, if I take them out of the cases there is still room for them in the storage drawer, but I liked how they were in the cases so it will be easy enough to attach a small bag to one of the shoulder strap loops to carry those and any other light weight small items in. Overall I’m very impressed with this brand and product. I will update after I’ve used it a while if I find there is any issues with the longevity of this easel, otherwise it will stand as is a split 5 star review ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great product and good value for money.

Absolutely love it, great value, tons of storage including the two little hidden extra-long paintbrush compartments shown in the pic, you will have to spend some time setting it up to accommodate your workflow, I removed one of the organizer slats to fit my shorter brushes, and keep my paints neatly organized on a small table under my easel, but I may separate them warm from cool and keep them in the brush compartments, who knows what the future may hold. I’ve seen this easel all alone priced from $79.99 online, up to $220 at my local art shop, and this is of identical style & quality, and packed with so many extra treats, all kinds of paints and plenty of each to get started! Opening it up and setting it up was wonderful, first the brushes came out, and lovely little surprises and extras just kept popping up, I had forgotten everything that comes with it, opening it & being so pleasantly surprised - repeatedly, really lifted my spirits, I just got it but it seems it will stand the test of time, and I already work with Meeden paints so I know I like those already, the little fan brush with the acrylic set is THE MOST DARLING THING, and I don’t already have one. Lots of must-haves for any student, autodidact, or hobbyist. Under $200 for all this with the coupon, & free shipping - I’m thrilled!
