I bought one from the official website, tachshaver.com, after watching their commercials dozens of times. That one operates with a regular AA battery, and it is the same price, $19.99, as this one on Amazon. I did get a second one for an additional $6.95. However, on the website they want another $25 for a rechargeable one, so I bought the rechargeable one from Amazon! That website is very deceptive, because they don't tell you about the extra $25 until you have started the purchase process, which I find rather disappointing. Both of my shavers work well. I have had name brand electric shavers in the past, and these work just as well, if not better. The size is great, and it really does fit into a pocket. I keep the battery one in my car, and I use the rechargeable one at home. For $50 I got 3 cheap and useful shavers, instead of a typical $50 single one. From past experience, you still have to replace the blades 4 or 5 times a year. They sell replacement blades on the website for $8. I have always used superior Gillette razors, but the blades keep getting more and more expensive, and they don't last a week! The tach shaver is easier to use, and more convenient. I had a Philip Norelco Electric Razor and wasn't happy with it any longer. This one is great. I haven't tried it in the shower yet but I do Trust that it will work. The box it comes in has Wet or Dry on the front of it. Plus it's what the Military uses & I'm a NAVY Veteran

The product works on short hair( I dont let my hair grow out, to beard staus, but the motor seems very weak. It does work with water. It does come with a USB charging cord specifically for this product, but you need to buy the wall unit charger unless you charge by computer( I do not know if it will work. It does serve my purpose for a quick & tight needed shave. I wish the motor was stronger, but at least it is very quiet. It seems to conture my face & curves well. Also comes with a cleaning brush & small carry bag, that the unit , brush & cord fits in tightly, but my recent experience is the charging cord is frail & cheap, it charges sometimes & doesn't at times. Battery life is very short. I will still keep & use my original razors for indoor use, regular day to day shaving. I would recommend charging every 2 days, if it will charge at all. It is definitely great for travel, camping, & if you need that quick shave to look presentable & human again in business & work environments.cleaning is easy with the two sided brush; soft & harder sided. THIS WILL NOT CHARGE NOW & IS NO USE TO ME!!! I wrote that above, but then I read questions & answer section & saw where the bottom of the unit came apart for someone & I thought "maybe this comes apart & it did". Still thinking & seeing wiring & the battery area, i realized the glue was not good they used & i got my plastics glue & glued it tightly & it actually charged again for awhile, after that it never charged again. I think it became the actual unit itself or defective battery. The only problem is when the rechargeable battery no longer charges, you will have to pry it apart, install an rechargeable type AA battery & re glue it again or just buy another unit...your choice. Another problem solved, i should not of had to solve in the first place. I was mistaken above, the cord is fine, it was the unit itself. I hope this helps. Even though I am happy with my present electric shaver which I have had for almost two years; nevertheless, I thought it would be a good idea and have a backup electric razor. When I saw this model (TAC shaver by Bell + Howell, moustache and beard rotary shaver with pop-up trimmer for sharper moustache and side burn edges) electric shaver for a good price on Amazon I decided to purchase it. One of the reasons I sent for this model was because it had rotary heads like my present electric shaver. I was impressed with the quick delivery service receiving it in about a day after ordering it. I immediately began using it when it arrived to determine if it gave as close a shave as advertised on their television promotion ads. Though it sounded powerful when turning it on and shaved okay; however, I have to be honest and say it did not shave as close as my regular electric rotary head shaver. I do like the small compact and convenience of using the TAC shaver and it is great for a backup electric razor and when traveling, which is why I gave it 4 stars. This is a good shaver, except for the fact that their "new" model has a curved shave head! This makes it hard to get a close shave on places of your face that aren't curved ( does a great job on the chin, but not on neck or face)! The old model with the flat shave head did much better...

I like that it is light and small. I bought it for my 91 year old husband. He needed a light weight shaver because other larger shavers are too heavy for him to handle. There was a problem with it though and that was that one of the three heads broke and fell out rendering it unusable. I am going to purchase another one just like it and hope that it will hold up and not break down. He does like how it works on his heavy beard and how light it is. Thank you.

I want to start out and say, I have a shaved head. I usually like to use it every morning to keep any stubbles that appear. This razor gives as close of a shave as possible to a razor blade shave. Was alittle doubtful when ordered due to the inexpensive cost if it would be garbage, but what a surprise for once. I couldnt be happier with the performance of this small , fits in the palm of your hand , razor.

I should have read the reviews before purchasing this shaver. It looks good but does NOT work as advertised. It barely cuts any hair. Hubby tried to use it to shave his face. He said he had to go over the same area time after time for several minutes before he felt any difference at all. I then tried to use it to shave my legs. After several minutes there was a slight difference. To us, it is definitely not worth the money.
