Saved my harvest
This stuff is very good. My garden had a serious infestation of Leaf spot on peppers and early blight and leaf spot on tomato leaves and fruit and some other wilt fungus. Leaves and blossoms were falling off and it was one week from being wiped out. I did not want to use any synthetic stuff or Micky Mouse baking soda solutions on my organic veggies so I took a chance with a bacterial brew to wage some bio warfare on the fungi and bacteria. I mixed a bit over 1/2 cup per gallon and doused everything before sunset. Seven days later the leaves that were already infested dropped off and the plants visibly perked up and virtually no new leaves show leaf spot on the peppers (maybe 3%). The tomato fruit is now blemish free and the blight or the wilt is greatly suppressed but not completely eliminated. I cannot complain about this only after one treatment when I expected almost total loss and started fighting this too late. Nip it in the bud as soon as the first signs show. It is very likely that i did not achieve 100% coverage with the spray and it rained 2 days later after application. I put it on 7 days later again (today) so I will see if the peppers will set some fruit again that will hold. Lots of people complain about the smell so I expected serious stench but it actually smells with a slightly musty and strong yeasty smell which is not bad at all. After spraying the garden smells like a brewery. I would definitely recommend this. Yes, it is not cheap but I weight it against the outrageous prices of fresh organic produce and ever declining purchasing power of our TP currency. I am also looking into the Actinovate fungicide and will try it out. I also wonder if the bacteria could be multiplied using something along the lines of aerated compost tea with some nutrients and Molasses. I imagine that is how it is produced commercially.

Good at fighting gray mold
I have two peach trees in my yard. This year one bloomed before the other, so the first one's fruit ripened at the expected time in late May/early June. A few peaches were showing the dusty gray mold, so I took them off the tree. Then entire branches of fruit started molding with leaves dying. I tried picking the peaches early and washing them and even quick boiling them to stop the mold but they molded anyway. I realized the problem was very serious so I purchased this product. I sprayed the infected tree, but it was already mostly taken over by the mold and couldn't be saved, so I sprayed the second tree which was right next to the infected tree as a preventative. The second tree didn't ripen until two months later but the problem of gray mold was contained to only specific fruits - not entire branches and was easily controlled. I have had this mold spread across both trees in previous years (although not as badly as this year) and even to the apple tree next to them, so I feel given how heavily the one tree was infected, the Seranade kept the spreading down to a minimum. I will definitely use it in following years as a preventative.

Did Quick Wonder For Lilac and Japanese Maple
I had some type of white powder on lilac. In addition leaves were rusted. The one type of lilac did not grow at for a few years. Kept being small for years. When it started to grow this year-it doubled size all of a sudden, I saw first then that white powder and rust are preventing lilac to bloom longer than 2 weeks and all new leaves and blooms were stopped in growth and attacked. The exactly the same happened to another lilac far apart from the first one but got the same plague. On 8.15.15' I sprayed once and took few leaves off. Than, I was kind of said to take off all leaves. I thought let's spray and wait. I hoped the disease will stop. Nothing changed in two weeks. Then, on 25th of the same month I took off all the leaves because all the leaves had white powder and rust. I was afraid that's gonna kill the plants but what else could I do-all the leaves were sick. I cleaned all grass around the lilacs so it has better air circulation, took off all the leaves on one lilac to see if it works. I fed it a lot of compost compost tea regularly and after exactly two weeks the new leaves come. Then I did the same to grapes, other lilac, and a some Japanese tree. The another lilac came back as well, and now after 1and 1/2 months the second lilac blooms and has big blooms in October in addition to soft and beautiful leaves. The Japanese tree also recovered beautifully. it's pretty expensive trees. Grapes started coming back but not so awesome like lilac. I had some two other perennials-currants they did not grow leaves, will see them in the spring. It did not help tomatoes at all although I soaked them completely-from all sides. All in all, for this stuff I can tell for what is effective it not only heals from plague but works wonders, but not all plagues are made equal. Spraying is usually done in Spring, so 'Serenade' has very good chance to be more effective in Spring. So, It helped a lot to 2 kind of lilac-it reformed it into blooming plant in October, yes October. The Japanese maple is also doing great instead of dying, grapes are doing so so, currants-will see in Spring, but tomatoes died. I will buy this again -it's very effective for some plants but not other. And lilac blooms smell like never before, and all of that in 4 of October.

Not sure yet
I have only sprayed this once so far so it isn't fair for me to judge effectiveness yet. I will say that it did spray okay and didn't clog my tank sprayer. Has a bit of an earthy almost light sewage smell but I couldn't call it foul. I am still getting fire blight on the apple tree which I "amputate" as it appears. I sprayed it on some mildewed plants and it seems to have knocked the mildew back a little. This is all on just ONE application so I am not judging effectiveness yet. Hard to find time to apply it because I am spraying for worms and don't want to wash off the worm spray or vice versa. I like the idea of this product and I am hoping it will work for me when I use it more regularly. ***EDIT on July 5th 2019. Bought another bottle and this stuff eliminated the peach leaf curl on my trees. I will be using this regularly now. Up my rating to FIVE STARS

Works Great On Cherry Leaf Spot
Ordered this HOPING it would help with the Cherry Leaf Spot that hit my large ornamental Cherry bad during summer of 2014. A few Cherries in the neighborhood, including one next door, got hit as well. The product doesn't specify Cherry Leaf Spot, but does cover 'Leaf spot' generally. Plus, organic as well, so no harm done if it failed. Mix-wise, I typically went a bit heavy handed, but since the active ingredient is, basically, a strain of yeast (even smells like bread) I wasn't concerned at all. So, I began applying this just after we had our early spring pruning in early March. Applied it around the base of the tree in the leaf litter, on the tree trunk and lower branches, and on the nearby roof and in the nearby gutters. I went out and treated about 5 times over 2 months, with 2 applications being after first buds appearing (lighter applications those two times, after covering the area good during first three applications). I am happy to report that, while my neighbor's Cherry (and others in the neighborhood) are in bad shape again, mine looks great! Nice, healthy green leaves all summer. Will definitely purchase another bottle as a preventative for next year as well. Very pleased!

Natural Fungicide With Mixed Results
I purchased this Serenade Garden Disease Control Effective Organic Fungicide specifically for use on my rare Hungarian Balaton Cherry tree. This year, this Balaton Cherry Tree has been plagued with Cherry Leaf Spot, caused by the fungus Blumeriella jaapii. I freaked, because these specific cherry trees are almost impossible to find. I had already lost one due to an organic insecticide that proved too harsh, and this remaining Balaton was even more precious to me. I purchased this Serenade Garden Organic Fungicide to fight this fungus naturally with no chemicals. I refuse to use chemicals on my trees and flowers, as I am ever mindful of the long lasting damage these harsh synthetic chemicals do to the environment. I also am particularly concerned about my huge hummingbird population. I live in a prime nesting area for the hummers, and have carefully protecting these bright little birds from anything that could possibly harm them. This Balaton Cherry Tree is a favored perch for my hummers. They use it to be close to my many feeders, and when I sought out a spray to use on the tree, I made sure I would find a product that would not hurt them. The Serenade Garden Organic Fungicide arrived in a generously sized bottle, and the contents mix easily with water. The spray has a strong, "yeasty" type smell. Although not pleasant, the smell isn't a problem. The problem is after repeated applications of the spray according to directions to my Cherry Tree, the yellow and spotted leaves are continuing to blight and fall off. This Serenade Garden Organic Fungicide has helped but not prevented or eradicated the fungus. More spots and more yellow leaves continue, with leaf drop. I do feel the Serenade Garden Organic Fungicide has helped to somewhat control the fungus, but it seems to be merely slowing it down. On a happy note, I stay next to the tree until it is fully dry, and my hummingbirds are not harmed or deterred from using the cherry tree. And the dreaded Japanese beetles do not land on the cherry tree's uppermost branches to feed and reproduce. I am continuing to use this Serenade Garden Organic Fungicide in hopes that at least it will slow the spread of the fungus. I just wish the spray had eradicated it.

Yes, it works!
This product absolutely works! I had 6 raised beds full of over 100 tomato plants and because of the wet weather we experienced, one bed after the other started to show signs of blight. I picked off the diseased leaves as best I could but the blight would just move up the plants and in 2 weeks time 3 beds were fully infected and looked terrible and early signs of blight were starting to show in the other beds. In my panic over losing all of my tomato plants I scoured Amazon and came across this product, immediately ordered it, plus a sprayer, and got to work. Spraying wasn't hard and didn't take very long to do. This product has a smell but it's not that bad at all. In total I sprayed all of my beds twice and it halted the blight in it's tracks. The plants went on to have a tremendous harvest, like nothing had ever happened to them. I highly recommend this product.

Not a viable product, not made since 2018 and all expirations ran out 2019.
Note this product was discontinued in 2018 and no longer made. The expiration ran out on the very last bottles made in 2018 in 2019. If you end up with an older bottle could have expired quite some time ago. And expiration dates are only good for unopened and perfectly stored products — dry, cool, dark. Typically that means above freezing, at cool room temperature and under 77F and no sunlight or sun shining on bottles to cause hot spots. But each type of product is different. This is not a typical chemical fungicide, it is a biological- a bacteria named bacillus subtilus and this was QST 713 strain. There are other strains and types of bacteria used as biological fungicides. However, if you buy this product in 2020, no matter how perfectly stored, it is no good. In the best of conditions, completely fresh, it only had a 2 year or less shelf life. This has been bought out by BioAdvance company, no longer owned by Bayer. Just spoke to the number on the bottle again. Did so last year when I ended up with 4 bottles of expired product. I just called the number shown above and was confirmed again, still not being made. However you can get the Natria Disease Control (make sure it is the one with the bacteria mentioned and no 2 in 1 or 3 in one products). It would be in a blue bottle and made fresh though with any biological, I would call the manufacturer and give them the lot number (not the bar code) and have them check when it was made and the expiration date. Don’t let them give you the “most of our products have 5 year expiration” - you want to know about the bottle you have in your hand. Bar code tells you about the product, sales, cost etc. Lot number tells you the date, when and where’s, who, etc that bottle was made. I hope this keeps someone from buying. If you don’t believe me, call the number yourself. 1-877-229-3724. Amazon needs to stop these sales. Note though I rated it as 1 star due to selling product that’s no longer active, the biological s seem to be working well as long as you use them prior to or very early in the disease process. They aren’t curative but work as a preventative. That said, they may help prevent further issues but aren’t expected to stop mid to severe disease. And they need to be used on a regular schedule typically every week though some biologics have a longer residual time period. Note — read carefully. Sometimes they indicate not to use tap or well (treated) water and sometimes they will indicate to keep pH at a specific level and what it can or can’t be tank mixed with.
