OVERDRIVE Expansion Track Collision Kit

we love Anki Overdirve but I have to admit, I was skeptical on this one. I thought for sure either the cars would mess up, or the new super trucks would mess up learning the track or racing on it. I'm happy to report though, 0 issues! It's superbly cool to use the super trucks with this too and see a car go flying underneath the truck when timed right. This has added a lot of suspense to our Overdrive races and if you own Overdrive, I would consider this a must add accessory.

Obviously if you're looking at this accessory, you either own the Overdrive Track or you're looking at investing in one. This accessory is as fun as it sounds. I was worried that due to the robotic nature of the cars, and their relatively high cost, that crashing them into one another was the last thing I wanted to do.....however that little boy in my head kept telling me it would be a blast. Well, the little boy was right, and the Collision Kit is every bit of fun you would hope it to be! The near misses are more thrilling than the collisions, but watching the cars drive the wrong way around the track or searching to get back on the track is hilarious! This is by far are favorite accessory for the Overdrive system!

Best toy ever especially for the child who is out growing action figures! Great quality tracks and the cars rarely fall off. App makes set up easy and fun!! Bought this for my 9 year old and he is crazy about it. Additional tracks are a must and the Nuke makes play even more challenging. Quick recharging.

Works great! The Anki kit was a christmas gift to my kids and this was an add on we purchased.

Great piece to add to your track. It definitely makes your track feel much larger just because of this piece based. I would say me for me and my kids it makes it seem to take up almost double the floor space. For some that could be a positive or negative. For us it was good.

These tracks and cars aren't supported anymore by manufacturer, however they can still be used and enjoyed. The batteries are easily replaced, the app runs fine on older phones and tablets.

Ok, it's good, it expands your track options immensely. BUT, the packaging it came in was about 30% bigger than the original box it was packed in.

If you have the Anki Overdrive track, you have to get this and the Launch kit! The track itself is amazing, but this makes playing so incredibly fun. I actually laugh as I watch my husband jump in to play and order all these extra kits because he and my boys are totally into them and having such a good time! Truly a genius product!

Auch bei sehr großen Strecken ist die maximale Anzahl an Fahrzeugen derzeit auf vier begrenzt. Dadurch kann sich das Feld soweit auseinander ziehen, dass es fast keine Gefechte mehr zwischen den Fahrzeugen gibt. Das kann dann recht schnell langweilig werden. Durch Kreuzungen hat man jedoch immer wieder die Möglichkeit, Gegner anzugreifen (oder gar zu rammen), die weit vor einem und damit eigentlich unerreichbar sind. Zugegeben, Kreuzungen machen den Spielverlauf etwas unberechenbar, aber aus meiner Sicht erhöhen sie deutlich den Spielspaß! Beim Aufbauen darauf achten, dass man nicht versehentlich zwei voneinander getrennte Rennstrecken erhält! PS: Anki weist darauf hin, dass man beim Streckenaufbau nicht zwei Kreuzungselemente unmittelbar hintereinander aufbauen dürfte, dies stimmt zumindest aktuell so nicht mehr. Ich selber hatte schon diverse Strecken mit zwei Kreuzungselementen, die unmittelbar aneinander gegrenzt haben.

This intersection piece of track is singularly the best addition you can make to your Anki Overdrive Starter kit - adds a new dimension to racing and adds an opportunity to make up lost ground in a race. Be advised this piece of track is huge - the box measuring 58 cm square also be advised to incorporate it into the starter kit without any redundant track you need in addition two extra 90 degree curve pieces of track (a Corner kit). Track extensions to Anki Overdrive can start to add up (£££) - the collision kit with corner kit represents a significant increase in race track length 33% more curve track and 50% more straight track, a marked improvement in racing fun for just the equivalent cost of an additional car. Well worth it!

What more can you do with an already good experience? Add a nerve wrenching, gut busting, eye closing car collision experience. The whole system is great, this takes a little to get right but once its ready its just another obstacle between you and the first place finishing post.... Should you buy? Hell, yes! Great addition, great fun, acceptable price.
