After having a Homedics clock for 15 years, the projector light finally gave out. I searched for a new one and came across the newer model. This one has a digital display for the radio vs my previous one, rotating the channel for radio. This one looks more modern and I actually like it. It does its job. Only thing is that the projector light is bright. But I will find a way to dim it with something. Got it for that reason but this light is bright. Radio signal is good too. Haven't tried the alarm but the sounds I love. Time setting was easy. It's also not too heavy. Easy to use. Projector light on and off is located on the bottom back of the clock. You can also dim the clock light or turn it off completely. I couldn't do that with my previous one. I had to use a cloth to cover the time since I had the time projected on the ceiling. So I have to turn it off but then you cant see what time it is at night.
