Easy to install and take out of your backseat. Entry cover is SUPERB. But does collect hair.
My dog is a short-haired 47lb boxer/sheppard mix but still sheds a decent amount. I'll dive right into my breakdown. PROs: + Thick, high quality material is entirely scratch proof for my dogs nails and keeps the backseats of my new car totally safe. + High quality buckles + Zippers dont slide down under pressure (this is HUGE actually. I hate failing zippers). When my dog steps near the zipper portion of the see-through mesh, the zipper holds its own. + The see-through mesh is great to be able to see your dog while theyre lying down, and more importantly, let your dog see you, which gives my dog reassurance. + Door shields/hammock ends/entry covers are a GODSEND. The previous seat cover I had only covered the front and rear seats, and left the doors completely uncovered. My dog would scratch, drool, and step all over the doors and edges of the seats and they'd get gross and damaged. I love being able to zip up the sides (reinforced by the handle straps!!!) and protect the edges of my seats and the lower half of my doors. By far the BEST thing is the entry and exit of my dog into and out of the car. Previously, my dog would step, scratch, and dirty the entire entry way of my car, track in plenty of mud with her every now and then, flinging it UNDER the seat cover sometimes. Being able to zip the edge down, both forcing my dog to wait for me instead of bolting out when the door opens, and cover the entire part of where my dog would step on is great. I love that this protects that on both sides of my car. + Seatbelt velcro openings are high quality as well + included dog seatbelt is nice to have. I don't use it very much but when I do need it, its really nice to have. It adds an extra layer of security and protection for my dog in case of a sudden braking or during winding roads. CONs: - My biggest gripe with this cover is how much of a hair magnet it is. With the last dog seat cover I had, despite all the other problems I had with it, it was really easy to just WIPE the hairs off. I would just take a simple Lysol wipe, and drag it across and it would pick up all the hairs from it. I cant do that with this cover. It looks like I may have to use a vacuum. I guess with the thicker material, thats the tradeoff. My last cover was thinner and eventually started to tear (which is why I needed this replacement). Maybe a certain type of furniture brush would be easier to take out the hair on this. But yeah, it attracts hair like no other. At least its machine washable! - Minor thing: the all-black color does absorb quite a bit of heat and can stay pretty hot. So make sure you have the AC on or the windows down with your dog on hot days, because it gets pretty toasty in the backseat with this thing on. OVERALL: This is a great backseat cover that protects more than others without those door flaps. The extra handle straps keep it from putting too much pressure on the zippers, and the see-through mesh is great for both you and your dog. Despite the hair-magnetic that it is, I would 100% recommend this to anyone.

Easy to use and great quality.
We have bought two of these now and leave one in each car. The little netting in the center means my dog can sit there and watch us and watch out the front of the car. They're durable, fit well, and are nice to just leave in the car so you can throw groceries and everything back there without messing up your car seats. They're stable and the side panels can keep your dogs off your windows and your doors. I'm very happy with this product.

Ideal Car Seat Cover for Dog Owners
As a DIYer who loves taking my dogs on adventures, the Vailge Dog Seat Cover for the back seat has been a game-changer. The first thing I noticed was how easy it was to install. The adjustable straps fit snugly around the headrests, and the non-slip backing ensures it stays in place, even with my dogs moving around. One of the features I appreciate the most is the mesh window. It allows my dogs to see me and stay calm during the ride, which is a huge bonus for longer trips. The cover is genuinely waterproof, handling spills and muddy paws without any issues. Cleaning it is a breeze – a quick wipe or a machine wash, and it’s good as new. The size is perfect for my large SUV, providing full coverage and protection for the seats. The material feels durable and has held up well against scratches from my dogs’ nails. I also like that it doubles as a hammock, giving my dogs a comfortable space to relax while keeping them safe from falling into the footwell. However, one minor inconvenience is that it took a bit of adjusting to get the zippers aligned correctly when setting up the hammock mode. But once set, it functions flawlessly. This dog seat cover has made car rides more enjoyable and stress-free for both me and my dogs. It’s a solid investment for any pet owner looking to protect their car seats while providing a comfy ride for their furry friends.

Never knew I needed one until I bought one
I never knew how great this was until I bought one and then I wondered why I had never heard of them before. I was torn between 4* and 5* but I did have a very minor issue with it so a 4* it is. If I could do 4.75*, I would. I was leaving for a 650+ mile drive with my fur baby Vader in tow and I needed some protection for the cars back seat. Protection from his claws and the shedding hair, he sheds a lot! The night before I was leaving I found this item and it was exactly what I needed; it was available via Prime, overnight by 8AM so I jumped on it. Installing the hammock was super simple and it fit really well in the space for the back seat. A few clicks for the straps around the headrests and it’s installed. There are like rubber handles that you push down between the seat bottom and the back that hold it in place so it doesn’t move around. Vader loves it, he gets air through the mesh opening and his claws get a nice grip on the material so he’s not sliding around when he moves in the back seat. The thing survived his claws and there’s no evidence of any scratches, etc. so the material is obviously very durable. The material is also waterproof. I spilled his water on one of my stops and it puddled up in the corner without soaking in. I was able to grab some paper towels out of the trunk and soak it up. You couldn’t tell I had even spilled water back there, the material was dry. There is one minor issue I had with functionality. . While the bottom side of the hammock does have a non-slip material, it could (and needs to) provide better grip than what it does. When I stopped to walk him, I had to straighten the bottom out so it was spread out flat again. While it’s a very minor complaint, it’s a feature that doesn’t perform as well as it should in my opinion. Would I recommend this to friends and family? Absolutely. I showed everyone how great it fit, how much dog hair didn’t get into the seat of the car and told the dog owners they needed to get one. For the price, it’s a great buy. Would I purchase another one? You bet I would. By the way, the car I drove was a 2016 Toyota Camry

I recently ordered this Dog Hammock for our Tesla Model Y after purchasing many from local pet stores that were not fitting the car properly. So far, so good. It fits the CUV sized back seat well. I loosened the loops around the driver and passenger headrest to keep the loops on the back seat tight so the hammock doesn't ride down with the dogs movement. He likes to sit against the back seat. The antislip feature seems like it works well. The mesh on the front allows the backseat to receive air movement which is nice, and provides a view to the backseat well. I really like the zipper on the side flaps to keep the door protected. The package arrived missing two pieces - the straps to hold the side flaps up. I emailed the company and they provided a very quick response and confirmed they would send the missing pieces to the address we will arrive to in Ontario. Good customer service. Will update the review once these are received and how they function for the hammock. The hammock seems quite durable. The material is not too thin. It did smell quite bad when I first inserted it. I used some sage in the car and the smell isn't an issue anymore. We are driving from BC to Ontario, leaving tomorrow. We have a 90 lb Boxer/Bullmastiff. Will update the review atthe end of our journey regarding water resistance, durability etc.
