Simple and works ... plus has connector caps !!!
Simple maintenance charger that works well. As a bonus all the connectors have caps to protect the terminals when not in use; most other chargers do not have those. This is particularly important for the permanent pigtail should you install that. The cap makes sure that the ground terminal (exposed one in the SAE plug) does not accidentally touch an electrically "active" point such as the pos (+) terminal on the battery which could cause a short. Another bonus is the 10 ft long cord on the charger; with the pigtail or clamps connected gives a total of 12 ft or cord length. Clamps are copper colored as opposed to the usual chrome look on others; appears higher quality. This is a great maintenance charger at a great price. For trickle / maintenance use, the 1.0 Amp DC capacity is fine; I use this on a car that is not daily driven. I also own a couple of other major brand name maintenance chargers and this one is right up there with them. A++++

Decent trickle charger
Bought two - one for the bike and one for the mower. Both seem to be doing a great job. I like the indicator lights that let you know if a) there is a charge (connection), b) the battery is being charged, c) battery is fully charged etc. Nice long cable. Clamps or rings options.

True Float Charger
Plug it in and forget it. It's a true float charger, as advertised. Seems well made and has indicators to show whats happening.

This is perfect for keeping my 1993 vehicle battery alive. I saw some reviews saying it will bring a battery back from being dead, but I did not find that to be the case. Given the amps I'm not surprised. But it doesn't advertise as doing that, maybe people got lucky or were using a different system.The 1A charger though is a perfect size trickle charger and has worked great. The alligator clips that come with it go right on the battery terminals and the length is plenty to reach my car from the outlet with slack.Great price point for a product that will do a great job of keeping your battery alive while sitting regardless of why. Just keep in mind this is not likely to charge a dead battery.
