So you can fit it to the childs head. Keeps it from siding down over the eyes. But no not really a liner, so to speak. **Q: What are the eight pieces? I read the description, but it only lists interchangeable screwdriver ,wrench, pliers, hammer,and tool belt,storage pocket.** A: I gave this as a gift so I don't have it for reference but I think the screwdriver has both Philips and flat and the Mickey head is a belt buckle adding up to eight pieces. **Q: What are the 8 pieces? I just received this and only count 7.
