pros: -comfortable grip, great for cursive but not the easiest to print -wet ink flow -smooth nib, feels broader than "fine", also writes a bit italic -great price for the quality -takes a long cartridge or 2 stacked regulars -made in germany if that matters to you -my favorite fountain pen yet (yeah, subjective) cons: -doesn't have a clip on the cap, but you can see that from the pictures -longitudinal seams on the body look like cracks at first glance

A very nice feeling fountain pen that writes well!

Purchased two of the Pelikan Twists for my kids as back to school present. One silver and one purple. This purple color was not purple, more deep blue. The cap insert on it also was cracked and would stay on the pen when you try to remove the cap. Ultimately, returned it as defective due to the cap and cap insert separating, but was nonetheless disappointed that the color did not match the product image. We went with different color when ordering another. It writes easily and has unique styling. Plastic construction, but solid in hand. The price is on higher end when you consider other pens of more traditional styling and similar or better functionality at the same price point.

This is a simple, fun, and inexpensive pen. It's a pleasure to use, and the design is simple and fun. This won't be anyone's "grail pen", but it sure would be great as a fun starter fountain pen.

Writes well. I prefer a wider pen, which makes my hand more relaxed when writing. It is difficult to post the cap, which makes the pen too light. I use it when I travel, it is inexpensive enough that I won't be terribly upset if it gets lost. Update : After less than 1 year, the pen still writes well, the nib is great. However, the plastic cap has already begun to crack from posting it to the barrel. The barrel is still in good condition. Wish the Twister design was available in a metal cap/barrel.

This fountain pen looks, feels and writes so smooth. I have a number of fountain pens and this one won me over so much that I had to stop using it and write this review immediately. It contains a large ink cartridge that I wasn't expecting and definitely appreciated. The medium nib glides over standard copy paper and doesn't pick up any loose fibers thanks to its even ink flow. I tend to use 28-32 lbs paper for my planner, so seeing its capability on copy paper made me happy.

If you struggle with holding a pen properly when writing, this could be the solution. It is comfortable to hold and the triangular design makes it easy to use the correct grip. If you just want to try using a fountain pen, this is also a great one to try. Make sure to get some extra ink cartridges.

I have been using Pelikan pens since I was a child in Germany. I was so excited to see these become available in the States. I will definitely never use another brand.

Ce stylo possède une plume relativement large ( taille m) et permet d'obtenir une écriture très lisible. La prise en main est agréable pour les gauchers et les droitiers. C'est une plume très agréable, qui glisse aisément sur la feuille ; l'encre sort avec fluidité. La couleur est plus or rose que rose girly , ce qui en fait un stylo élégant à la forme originale, adapté également aux adultes.
