Holds heavy wet clothes without sagging significantly. Requires drilling into studs or solid walls for maximum weight support. Needs a tight lock to prevent heavy blankets from dipping .I bought this double retractable clothesline to maximize my indoor drying space. It is incredibly convenient because the lines disappear when I am done with laundry. The double-line design allows me to hang shirts on one side and heavier items on the other. Setup took a little bit of effort to ensure it was secure, but it has held up beautifully. I highly recommend it for anyone living in an apartment or small home.

Absolutely love this!! Put it up on the two posts of the back porch. Holding up well, no sagging. Nice to retract it when not using. Holds a fair amount of clothes.

I haven't installed this yet but the directions and hardware seem very straightforward and easy to install if you have the tools and experience installing something fairly simple like this. The hardware, like the mounting bracket, seems very sturdy and made of good quality metal, but is also lightweight. One thing I really like is that the winding mechanism slows the speed at which the line retracts. So if you pull it out far & accidentally let go of the line, you don't have to worry about it snapping back too fast like a tape measure- causing damage to your wall or hurting anyone who might be standing in it's path. I'd still use caution though, since you cannot engage the lock while pulling the line out at the same time. You can disconnect the line while it's still locked, carry it over to the unit, and then release the locking mechanism to have even more control over the wire and where it's travelling while it's winding back up. Overall, very nice product and pleased with the quality and size. It's compact, has a relatively small wallspace footprint when it's not in use, and perfect for my line-drying needs in my small studio apartment.

Once you get it installed, it works very well. The installation into normal home walls can be a bit challenging.

This baby has held up with flying colors. Just don't attach it to drywall, as the instructions clearly state (and as, you'd hope, folks would understand when installing something they know will be pulling up to 100 pounds of weight). Just make sure you're attaching it to a stud behind the drywall, and you'll be golden. Or, do what we did, and attach it to the top of a door frame. This is great because we didn't have to use a studfinder or buy different hardware. Obviously everyone's space is different, but we have ours attached to a closet doorframe and our back door door frame in our laundry room, so there was literally no measuring involved. And my husband, the weirdo, collects comforters, which he likes to change out every few days. So we've had two comforters hanging on these lines almost every day since we've made the purchase, and this baby has held up and I'm super impressed. It's very sleek, too. The only way I could be happier with this purchase is if these lines magically made the laundry dry faster. Five stars. Two thumbs up. All ten toes up.

All of the wall Anchors were defective. The 'grips' were basically smooth. They came out of the wall when the screws were put in. We threw them away and had to go buy better anchors. Installer was unhappy.

I read through the reviews before purchasing this product. A lot of the bad reviews kept referring to the plastic brackets, not being able to hold any weight. I figured that didn’t make any sense and that they must’ve been installing them backwards. I purchased it and installed it myself and verified that it works properly and yes they installed it backwards. One guy has a video where he shows the brackets he installed, and they are backwards lol. We’ve been using it no problem. If you’re installing it on a sheetrocked wall just make sure you can get as many screws as possible into studs for extra security. If and when you need to put 2 screws into the Sheetrock just make sure you use quality Sheetrock anchors. Preferably the white ones that’s screw into the wall!

Loved this product, been using for a long while now. The dismantling of the product can be tricky but other than that, it's great!

Installation est simple et le mécanisme d'enroulement fonctionne parfaitement : le câble se déroule facilement, se bloque bien à la longueur souhaitée et se rétracte en douceur sans se coincer. Une fois tendue, la corde s'avère particulièrement robuste et supporte très bien le poids de vêtements humides, y compris des serviettes ou des textiles plus lourds, sans trop s'affaisser au milieu. C'est une excellente alternative aux étendoirs sur pied volumineux, très discrète une fois le câble rangé. En résumé, un produit de qualité, esthétique et extrêmement pratique au quotidien que je recommande sans hésiter.

Good product. Don't use the screws or at least not the anchors they send. You need better ones to hold both sides up. Anchors provided with size of screws don't work. Start to screw in the screw and it simply slips all the way in with no grab. For those who'd say keep going and it will expand... nop, it doesn't.

Ho acquistato questo stand retrattile da parete per utilizzarlo nel mio garage, e posso dire di essere estremamente soddisfatto. Il prodotto si estende da una parete all’altra, occupando l’intera larghezza della stanza, ed è una soluzione eccellente per chi cerca uno stendibiancheria capiente ma poco invasivo. La struttura è robusta e ben progettata. Fin da subito ho deciso di fissarlo con tasselli Fischer, diversi da quelli in dotazione, per garantire una tenuta ancora più solida, vista la lunghezza dell’apertura e il carico che intendevo supportare. Con questa piccola accortezza, il risultato è stato impeccabile: lo stand è fermo, stabile e dà grande sicurezza anche sotto carichi importanti. Dal punto di vista della funzionalità, è davvero versatile. Ho provato a stenderci di tutto: abiti, lenzuola, asciugamani e persino coperte pesanti. Regge tutto senza alcuna difficoltà, senza cedimenti o segni di affaticamento strutturale. L’ampiezza dei fili permette di stendere molta biancheria in un’unica volta, cosa utilissima soprattutto nei mesi invernali o per chi ha poco spazio in casa. Un altro grande punto a favore è il meccanismo retrattile: quando non è in uso, si richiude completamente e sparisce alla vista, lasciando il garage libero e ordinato. Non ingombra, non disturba e mantiene l’ambiente pulito e funzionale. È l’ideale per chi, come me, utilizza il garage anche per altre attività e ha bisogno di ottimizzare ogni metro disponibile. In sintesi, un prodotto ben fatto, resistente e intelligente, che consiglio vivamente. Unico suggerimento: se volete un fissaggio duraturo e particolarmente solido, investite in tasselli di qualità, come i Fischer, soprattutto se lo installate su superfici in muratura o cemento. Ma già così com’è, il prodotto merita pienamente cinque stelle.
