I normally don’t do amazon reviews, but I wanted to let other Mac mini users know this is the perfect solution for standing your Mac mini vertically. When I inboxed this, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the stand is a very heavy and sturdy metal. The Mac mini fits inside it snugly, such that it takes a good amount of upward force to pull the Mac mini from the stand. The stand is wide enough such that it would be very difficult to knock the mini over. I feel very safe with my mini inside this. I have no fear the mini will fall out on its own. The bottom of the stand has rubber, meaning the mini does not slide around if a wire gets pulled while in this stand. Since the Mac mini fits so snugly inside the stand, pushing the Mac from any angle will cause the rubber under the stand to hold the mini in place. The important fact here, is that pushing the mini from any angle will NOT cause it to fall out of the stand, but instead will cause the stand to slide on the table. This is what separates this stand from the other popular (and worse) option on amazon. The matte black colour also looks amazing on the Mac mini. This is a very good looking, high-quality case. And yes, standing the mini vertically improves Bluetooth, wifi, and heat dissipation. Hopefully I’ve saved some of y’all a headache. This is hands down the best solution for standing your mini vertically. I feel safer with my mini vertical in this stand than I do having my mini lay horizontally on the table (due to the rubber under the stand).

So let’s just get this out of the way, it’s a stand... It’s like a hard taco shell and your Mac mini is the delicious filling. So it’s pretty simple and it does it’s job. What I like is that even though it’s pretty minimal, it is solid. I mean the thing has some heft to it. The stand is all metal, and it has a squared off front, on the back there is a crescent shaped cut out that fits the bottom of the Mac Mini. It takes up very little space and it allows me to park my Mini right behind the monitor with full access to the ports, so if you are looking for a vertical stand for a Mac Mini this is a good solid choice!

I love this product! I was so happy to see that someone had taken time to make a stand for the Mini Mac. It keeps the Mac from collecting dust while lying down, it is a great space saver and anyone can set it up! I love that it was affordable but serves a great purpose. It functions well and makes a difference on our desk. I highly recommend everyone purchasing a Mac stand.

LOVE this stand. It's heavy weighted and sturdy, has a nice foam protector so it doesn't slide around on my glass top dry board desk. FIts perfect behind my monitor. The curtains that are located close to my computer don't cause the base to move when I slide them past the unit every night. This thing is wicked solid. That being said. I kept hearing my fan throttling and my computer wasn't showing high usage and everything was slowing down enough for a designer to notice. I did a diagnostic and everything seemed fine. No high app usage or overheating. Then I remembered the only thing that changed was I had rotated to mac mini with the power button on the bottom for easier access every morning. So I flipped it over so the power button is on top. INSTANT FIX. My fan immediately turn off and my computer became faster again. So flip it if you have the same issue. For reference, I have a late 2014 custom mac running 16GB with 1TB and Big Sur.

Important if you use a Mac Bluetooth Keyboard and Magic Mouse. I updated my 5 star to 4 star on account of bluetooth and wifi issues for me. After a week of my Mac mini being vertical I began to notice some Bluetooth issues, I have 2018 Mac mini and a new Mac Keyboard and Magic Mouse, I did notice I would loose a connect every now and then, with both the keyboard and mouse which I didn't have these connection drops before, I also lost connection with file sharing which I never had before, It could also be the area my MacMini was positioned in, In stead of placing my MM in another area I decided not to use the stand for now. Perhaps if I decide to move my MacMini in another room I try the stand again, and see what happens. Anyway it is a decent stand well made and fits like a glove, I't just not going to work for me at the present.

I had never considered a stand before and ran across this by accident. I ordered it and was so impressed with this product. 4 Things stood out immediately right out of the box. 1. Heavy weight well made stand with a soft bottom and interior sides to keep from scratching. 2. The minute I put the Mac Mini (2014) in the stand, it began to run faster. 3. The wi-fi has always been a bit tricky but as soon as this was seated in the stand the wi-fi was much smoother and definitely ran faster! 4. Its a handsome stand, it looks good. Also when i first put the Mac in the stand it was sitting on a slant. I simply flipped it around and it stood straight up. There are a zillion things out there that are a sure waste of time, but practical well made products like this are well worth the money! Thanks
