Works great on Jeff Beck sig. Strat.
If I remember correctly, Jeff Beck used a short arm trem bar on his guitar. However, his signature Stratocaster comes with a standard trem arm which hits on the input jack, After my new puppy chewed up the white plastic tip of the trem arm, rather than replace the tip, I went in search of a different trem bar and found this one. Wasn't quite sure what would happen but it fit perfectly, and the bend of the bar is enough that the bar now passes over the input jack so I don't have it hanging up or banging on the jack, no to mention the fact that--it just looks cooler without the white tip. So, very pleased.

Works well on Yamaha Pacifica 212
I bought two of these for my Yamaha Pacifica PAC212's. They fit like a glove on the stock tremolo and are sturdy. I had no issues with bad threads as others have reported. My best advise is make sure this is the right size for your guitar. If you have to force this arm in or the threads strip, chances are you bought the wrong size arm. This is very comfortable to use, and I prefer this type of trem arm over the usual tipped ones found on most guitars.

For a MIM Strat, the Year Matters!
My Strat is a 1991 MIM, and this bar fits about as well as the original arm. The year of your guitar’s manufacture matters a lot with whether it will fit, based on reading the other reviews here. Seems like since they changed the name to “Player Series” they’ve changed the arm diameter. Again, my Strat was made the first year they started making the Mexican series, and this bar did eventually screw in. There was a bit of rust on the threads, but doesn’t seem to affect screwing it in or out. It sits pretty high up as other reviews mention, so I’ll likely bend it a bit to suit my style. Finally, there’s no Wilkinson branding on the packaging at all.

Great trem arm - with a slight mod
This is a quality trem arm, and fit perfectly in to my MIM player series strat. It was definitely more angled than I expected, so I put it in a vice and bent it to exactly the angle that I was looking for. Now it sits & works perfectly.

Actually nothing to say about it
It fits my Strat and though I actually never use the whammy bar ever, have it locked by five springs and a piece of wood is the reason that I carry this tremolo arm in the case for the case that I maybe will use the bar. In 5 years or so. And since I have now a white pickguard and black pickup covers and control knobs is in my opinion the all steel version of the arm better fitting to the optics. That's the one and only reason why I purchased this piece.
