Is it ok to cut the rail to suit a desired length? I need a rail 94 inches long so am thinking of buying the 8 foot kit and cutting rail to suit

I would think so. We used the 8 foot, there is a logo at each end, so you would need to cut an inch off each end. Incidentally the rail works perfectly for us, good quality.
