ZAPZYT Acne Wash 6.25 oz

Product is a little drying but that's to be expected with a 2% salicylic acid face wash, so I only use it on the "problem areas" of my face. It is a loose gel-like formula with absolutely no scent that I can detect, and I'm super sensitive to them. Also have sensitive skin and it doesn't aggravate it at all. I've seen a marked improvement in the obviousness of my blackheads too.

This product is excellent. I've been trying out products from Dr Dray's recommendations. I've been washing with DHC cleansing oil, Aquanil face wash, then putting Hydroboost Body lotion (unscented), Cerave Moisturizing lotion and Adapalene on my face. All that alone has helped improve the texture of my skin, but I was still having really bad acne flair ups on my cheeks. I suffer from hyper pigmentation and the continuous acne was really taking a toll on my self confidence. I added this in the morning as a sort of lower wash off face mask... and the next day my acne was dramatically calmed. I've since added PanOxyl 4% face wash at night and this has all really helped stop my flair ups. My skin is so much calmer. Now I can focus on wearing sunscreen and reducing the hyperpigmentation. My goal is to feel comfortable without makeup and prevent more premature aging.

This is a fantastic wash, but it is NOT for sensitive skin or fragrance free. It has chamomile, which while a gentler extract is still fragrance. Sensitive skin beware. Like many others, I also bought this off a recommendation from Dr. Dray, but I was honestly surprised about the fragrance. I have watched almost all her videos and don’t ever remember her mentioning fragrance in this product. I know she accepts fragrance for a wash off product, but for those of us with sensitive skin use at your own risk. It’s too bad because this would be perfect without the unnecessary fragrance (like all skin care products, honestly). It is not advertised as fragrance free, so I can’t fault them for that. It’s my responsibility as a consumer to educate myself and actually read the ingredients. I didn’t have any problems when I used it on my face for acne, but I was nervous enough about the fragrance for use on a daily basis that I demoted it to my back. My body can tolerance fragrance way more than my face can. But as an acne wash, it really is great. The scent is not strong or offensive. The gel texture is also lovely. It suds up just enough. I can’t take off any stars, though, because my skin is the problem not this product. This will not be a repurchase for me simply because I found a truly effective fragrance free 2% salicylic acid wash that is way better. (Cerave Psoriasis)

This is the best salacylic acid cleanser I’ve ever used. It’s very gentle and effective. The only thing I didn’t like was that there is a purge period where your acne get worse. After a few weeks it goes away. Other than that great product.

I have very sensitive skin and I use this once a day and it’s great!! The first few times I used this I had some sensitive to it but after two-three uses I haven’t had an issue sense. I always struggle with products that are supposed to be good for sensitive skin and then they just aren’t. This works for me, inexpensive and worth a try!! Note: if you already have irritated skin I’d wait until your skin normalizes again before first use.

Ive had to discontinue this product as it just doesnt work for my sensitive skin. I would advise those who came looking for this after searching youtube or a dr dray video to try a lower percentage SA face wash. In no way is this product bad, its just that it may have adverse effects and lead to extreme skin irritation. If using this start off slowly and not two times a day. It can work well for some but for some like me hold off on this product.

Shake before use

Wow. This stuff is incredible. I’ve been using it for around 2 months now. A very small amount goes a long way, so this tube is gonna last me the whole year and then some. My breakouts are less frequent, my skin texture has softened and smoothed out. I love that this cleanser is the bare minimum. No color, no fragrance.

I got it becoz of dr dray and it’s great honestly I was able to feel the difference within few days and it kinda drys out,so make sure to apply moisturiser❤️
