After around 20 years of cutting my own hair I have worn out a few different big name and big price clippers along the way so I decided to try some 'cheap' ones to see if they could do they same job whilst saving myself a few quid...... I'm so glad I did.....cause these are bang on This 'budget' set has so far proved to be BETTER than ALL the other pricier models I've had in the past The best bits for me are the quality of the cut which is 1st time EVERY time, the very low noise/vibrations whilst in use so is very easy to hold even with arthritis, quick micro adjustment by twist, a clearly visible screen showing remaining power % of the battery and a very convenient usb charge lead I use it for my head and beard and after using it twice for the job in hand after7 days growth each time (around 1 hr 20 minutes total use ) the battery power remains at 86% which would be much better if you don't have similar mobility issues as the blades are excellent, it's me that takes the time NOT the clippers At less than 10 quid it almost seems impossible to produce such quality yet they FAR OUTSCORE any others I've had that have cost nearly 10 times the price My ONLY 'issue' is the colour is a very dated gold(ish) finish which makes it look like a tacky toy but if you can ignore that '60s' style colour then you'll be very happy with everything else it does........ ALL for less than a 10er Bargain

Great pair of clippers, I particularly liked the size when compared with smaller alternatives. Easy to use and charging indicator is very useful. I’m impressed with the length of time they hold their charge. The only negative is that the longest hair guard is 12mm (grade 4). Larger guards would be useful but don’t appear to be available. Well worth the money

My son - hitting the peak of puberty in the middle of lockdown - seemed to grow a coat of fur almost overnight, and desperately needed shearing. I've never had to deal with the sheer amount of fuzz that was sprouting from a human being like this before, so urgently consulted my friends who also parent teenaged hairy things. They recommended shearing him, almost like a sheep, in the garden (on a day that wasn't windy, when I had wine at the ready) with a rugged pair of clippers. Well, I couldn't find an affordable and rugged pair of clippers, but I did find these - a nifty little USB charged set that come with lots of attachments and graders and things that look quite useful if you know what you're doing and aren't just hoping to de-fuzz a teenager. They charged quickly, and have a nice little indicator that tells you how much charge remains and some other things. They were easy to use and to clean after and come with a nylon cape (which my son hated) and some other useful odds and ends. My ONLY complaint is that they need, ideally, a little bag or something to keep them in. A compartment for the charger lead and clipper and another bit for the bits and bobs would be brilliant - I haven't yet found anything that quite does the job and will probably resort to making something of my own when I get frustrated (and bored) enough (and have run out of wine). Anyway. They're very good. I'm very pleased. And my son is shorn, and doesn't look like his mum did, which he says is a massive bonus as "no one likes a dead trim by their mum". Whatever that means.

For an average guy needing a few lockdown haircuts in order to be webcam presentable they've been great. The supplied guides which attach to the clipper and control the length (grades 1?, 3, 6, 9, 12) easily clip on and off and it also comes with a comb and (very small) cleaning brush. Easy to charge via supplied usb cable although doesn't come with a wall adapter. Another reviewer said this was a problem, but I disagree as most people have a usb charger for their phone these days. Don't buy this if you're a hair stylist as it won't survive being dropped (thin plastic) and is battery powered for I'd guess an hour, max. Perfect for home use though.

Lovely lightweight clippers with variety of tools. Not that easy to clip guards on and off as others and concerned guards may snap. Also used the largest guard size 12 supplied and cut was much much shorter than expected from a 12 so be careful! I do not think the guard sizes correspond to UK guard sizes. So excellent for short clips but unable to do longer clips.

I've got through four or five pairs of clippers over the last 15 years. These ones are the best set I have used. The clippers feel solid and good quality. I've been using them for around 7 months and so far they are still sharp. The battery life is also excellent. I only charged them once and they still 18% charge left according to the LCD display. My old set had to be charged before every use before finally the battery died, so it is nice to now have a pair which last so long. The adjustment option without adapter is also useful as I keep my hair very short ( ...what's left of it :)... ) They are the best pair of clippers that I've owned, and also the cheapest. Amazing quality for the price. There's nothing I would change about them.

Arrived earlier than advertised, straight from the box and cut my own hair. Easy to use, easy to clean. Only 4 stars as it could do with the ability to buy additional length combs. The 12mm comb is a bit too close for me on top of my head. Great for back and sides.

These are excellent clippers. I was concerned about how good they would be since they are plastic body but they cut really well with a metal and ceramic blade. They are easy to hold and a charge uses about 20% battery for me so good for a few trims. Did the back and sides with the supplied guards - a 4 (12mm) was short enough but could easily go shorter with a 1 guard also supplied. The cape is also useful and brushes are included. The clippers have paid for themselves at this time. Now do I have the guts to use them all over my hair?
