Lego DUPLO All-in-One-Pink-Box-of-Fun 10571 Educational Toy for Toddlers

My daughter just discovered love for Lego. She is 2.5 years old .I was shopping in the mall when suddenly She pulled me into the Lego shop and started playing in the the play-corner inside the shop with other children. Than was totally unexpected as she is very shy...When we left I got her a small set to see if she really likes it that much . ..and Sweet heaven... she was playing with them for hours. Puzzles and books were forgotten. But there was not many parts in it to play with so we decided to go BIG and got her this set. She love it. And its bright Barbie Pink. She has no color preference just yet but mamma likes it. ;-) Bottom Line YES would recommend it to my friend and family.

My 3 year old daughter received this set for Christmas, which began her love for Duplo Lego's. She now has received several other Duplo sets, which are all wonderful, but this particular set is a GREAT start up Lego set for any child ages 1-4. The Legos are big enough for a 1 year old to manage and still not be able to put a whole piece in their mouth. I am not too sure if a child that young would understand the concepts of building buildings, but a one year old may enjoy stacking vibrant color blocks. The Lego's are sturdy and well made. They will hurt you before you will hurt them (you will learn this the first time you ever step on one with no shoes....ouch!) This has become my go to Toddler gift if a child does not have any Legos yet.

This Lego box offers a lot for busy builders.Pros:Good selection of brick sizes and shapes to promote imaginative playDeep storage box that can accommodate this set plus the small side sets sold separately.Easy to follow vivid instructions.Quality glossy bricks that snap together nicely.Cons:Lid doesn't lock in as well as other Duplo sets, so carry it from the bottom.Pieces are packaged in smaller plastic bags, some may prefer this set up buy I felt it produced a lot of waste.

Ok, Lego, we get the point. Girls can play with Duplos, too. But couldn't we have a Duplo girl dressed in red, playing with blue bricks? How about purple? KIds self-segregate, and little girls are strongly cued here that pink Duplos are "Girl's Duplos".That said, this set does offer a lot of options (as well as some multi-colored bricks!) There are some specific pieces -- like windows and a fence -- as well as some generic bricks that encourage totally free play and design. There's plenty of room in the bin to store extra pieces from smaller sets (although the rectangular design will encourage a few kids to use it as a step stool!) However, in retrospect I'm more inclined to buy the creative play/free design sets in colors other than pink, and save pink for the specialized sets like Duplo My First Shop. A little dose of pink goes a long way!

Ordered this set for my 2 year old for Christmas as starter intro set to Legos after she played with these at someone else's house. She's already had so much fun with them and they provide her with a good 30 mins to hour of entertainment without her asking for a phone to watch videos on or turning on the tv. They are big enough for her small hands to maneuver yet not too big like a competitor product that would overtake my living room. Also, she is able to easily put the pieces together and take apart without any help from mom or dad. Which is great for her fine motor skills. I would recommend everyone to buy for preschoolers. This is a great starter set!

I bought this set for the daughter of my best friend. It was a 2nd birthday gift. Little H loved the set. She opened the box and was entertained for quit a while. Seeing how much she enjoyed the blocks I am on the lookout for another fun set for her.I highly recommend this set for youngsters.

My niece loves building with legos/duplos so when I was told she didn't have enough I couldn't resist buying this for her for Christmas, it's one of her new favorite toys. The box came intact no cracks or scratches, the blocks are brightly colored and add variety to the standard colors she already has, and the character blocks are her favorite. This set is perfect for beginners or adding on to your collection.

A great collection for our little princess. And at a very reasonable price for a special collection.The pink box makes an excellent storage box as well - it encourages your little one to tidy up after they've finished playing.
