Modern and rectangular, this waste basket fits between other counter top machines easily. It has a pedal at the bottom to push open the lid and slowly lowers the lid on it's own so there's no loud slamming sound when it closes. There a convenient inside removable basket with a lift handle. It comes with good quality gray bags with yellow tie strings. I will pull the bag over the edge of the inside basket and tie a small knot then pull the bag deep into the basket for a snug fit around the edge of the basket. Then fit the basket back into the trash can. You can see the bags outside over the edge when the trash can. It would be nice if they could have a space to hide them inside. I was hoping to find a slightly smaller trash can for the kitchen counter by the coffee maker but I love this one because it is rectangular and fits better than a round trash can. It is easy to clean and does not leave smear marks when you clean it.

This was made very well but it is really small

I had been looking for something like this for a while, but most of what I saw seemed cheaply made. This is a quality piece. Nice matte finish. Pedal action is firm and steady, top lift up in steady motion. Love the soft-close feature where the top drifts back down to its closed position. Removable inner liner makes emptying easy. Yes, a little more expensive than some of the others I have seen, but in my opinion worth it for the quality. Feels like it will last.

This item is just as described. It fits nicely into a small corner or under a desk. It's great because it's low-profile, looks nice, without the "obvious" look of a trash can. The soft close is a very handy feature. It's lightweight. I think I may purchase more for various areas of the house.
