Is there a setting to loop a DVD for continuous play back of the same thing?

Yes, DVD players have this function. 'A-B' button on the remote control

Can you update codecs? everytime i play an mp4 from the usb, it says the codec is not supported, and it only plays the audio. it works fine w/ mp3s.

This thing won't play mp4 files so in 2022 its utterly worthless

That the remote may not work

Except for the remote control not working, I love this for watching dvds.

Good portable DVD player

The player arrived on time but in watching the monitor has 3 discoloration spots and when the video is d a dark background the picture is distorted some.

Don’t bother

Bought this last year. Used it maybe 6-8 times. Now any dvd, including new ones, skip and freeze. I blew in it in case dust got in there, made no difference. Hard to find a decent portable dvd player. This failed too.as my third device. When it was working it was hard to see the screen fully without constant adjusting the position. Also the speakers sounded so “tinny” that I had to use headphones.

Not worth the money

Feels super cheap as far as construction. The rubber feet leave these black marks everywhere, and by the second use we're just stuck on the Jekero blue screen no matter how many times we restart. I wouldn't waste my money again on this thing.
