A Solid 5-Star— read update
UPDATE: A Surprising Turnaround! A Solid 5-Star Rating for the Hiseeu Security Camera Wireless Outdoor! I must admit, my initial review of the Hiseeu Security Camera Wireless Outdoor was filled with frustration and disappointment. However, I am thrilled to share that my experience has taken a complete U-turn, transforming my perception of this product. After reaching out to the Hiseeu customer support team, they promptly provided me with helpful guidance and assistance to address the issues I encountered. With their support, I was able to uncover the true potential of this security camera, and boy, am I impressed! Let me start with the setup process. Thanks to the detailed guidance from the customer support team, I realized that I had missed a few crucial steps during my initial setup attempt. Once I followed their instructions, the connection to my WiFi network became stable and reliable. The camera now seamlessly streams live footage without any interruptions, ensuring I can monitor my property with ease. Now, let's talk about the 3MP Color Night Vision. Once I adjusted the camera settings as suggested by the support team, I was blown away by the enhanced clarity and vibrant colors this feature provides. Gone are the pixelated images I initially encountered; instead, I now enjoy crystal-clear visuals that allow me to identify even the smallest details in low-light conditions. It's like having a high-definition movie playing right in front of me. As for the pan and tilt functionality, I can happily report that the camera now moves smoothly and precisely. With a full 360° range of motion, it effortlessly covers every corner of my property. It's truly a delight to witness the camera gliding seamlessly, offering a comprehensive view without any abrupt jolts or wild maneuvers. The camera has reclaimed its role as a vigilant sentinel, ensuring nothing escapes its watchful eye. Motion detection has also vastly improved. Thanks to some firmware updates suggested by the customer support team, the camera now differentiates between actual movement and natural environmental factors, such as leaves rustling in the wind. The false alarms have been significantly reduced, giving me the confidence that I will be alerted when it truly matters. It's a relief to know that my camera has transitioned from aspiring meteorologist to a reliable security guard. The siren, motion, and light alarms have received a significant boost in effectiveness. The siren now emits a loud and attention-grabbing sound that can be heard from a distance, ensuring any intruder will think twice before proceeding. The motion-activated lights have been enhanced to shine brightly, illuminating the area with a powerful glow that ensures unwanted visitors are caught in the spotlight. These upgrades provide a strong deterrent, leaving no doubt that my security is taken seriously. The 2-way audio feature, after some adjustments and firmware updates, now delivers crisp and clear sound quality. I can engage in conversations with visitors or even scare off potential intruders with a commanding voice. It's a far cry from the comical garble I initially experienced, and I can confidently say that the Hiseeu Security Camera Wireless Outdoor has now become a reliable communication tool as well. Lastly, the IP66 weatherproof rating has proven to be resilient against even the harshest rainstorms. After the firmware updates and some additional weatherproofing measures suggested by the customer support team, the camera has stood up to torrential downpours without a hint of water intrusion. It has triumphantly regained its role as a steadfast protector, even in the face of nature's fury. In conclusion, I am ecstatic to update my review of the Hiseeu Security Camera Wireless Outdoor to a perfect 5-star rating. The exceptional customer support and their commitment to resolving the initial issues have transformed my experience from frustration to pure satisfaction. With its reliable WiFi connection, stunning Original review As an avid online shopper, I recently decided to upgrade my home security system and stumbled upon the Hiseeu Security Camera Wireless Outdoor. The product promised a plethora of impressive features, including 3MP Color Night Vision, WiFi connectivity, motion detection, siren/motion/light alarms, 2-way audio, and IP66 weatherproofing. Excited about the possibilities, I eagerly made my purchase. Little did I know that this journey would turn into a comedy of errors. First and foremost, the setup process was far from straightforward. The instruction manual was a mere pamphlet, resembling a complex puzzle in terms of deciphering its poorly translated language. After an hour of scratching my head, I managed to connect the camera to my WiFi network, or so I thought. Unfortunately, the connection was spotty at best, resulting in frequent disconnects and unreliable live streaming. One of the key selling points of this camera was the 3MP Color Night Vision. However, the reality fell far short of my expectations. Instead of clear, vibrant colors, I was greeted with murky, pixelated images that resembled an abstract painting more than a security feed. It was like watching a black-and-white movie with a failed attempt at colorization. Needless to say, this feature was a major disappointment. The pan and tilt functionality was another letdown. The camera promised a 360° range of motion, but it moved more like a malfunctioning robot. It would jolt from one extreme to the other, giving me a whirlwind tour of my backyard rather than a smooth pan. It was as if the camera had developed a mind of its own and was desperately trying to escape its surveillance duties. I found myself chuckling at the absurdity of it all. Motion detection, an essential feature for any security camera, turned into a daily game of "Is it a person or a leaf?" The camera would alert me with great enthusiasm, only for me to find out it was triggered by a gust of wind rustling the trees. I appreciated the camera's commitment to environmental awareness, but it wasn't particularly helpful for actual security purposes. I couldn't help but laugh at the false alarms and wonder if my camera had a secret ambition to become a weather forecaster. The siren, motion, and light alarms were meant to deter potential intruders. However, their effectiveness left much to be desired. The siren emitted a feeble screech that could barely be heard from inside my own house, let alone alerting the neighbors. The motion-activated lights were equally underwhelming, resembling a dim flashlight rather than a blinding spotlight. If anything, they were more likely to confuse the intruder than scare them away. I couldn't help but imagine a hapless burglar stumbling around my backyard, perplexed by the lackluster security measures. The 2-way audio feature, touted as a means of communication with visitors, provided unintended comedic relief. The audio quality was reminiscent of a broken telephone line from the 1950s. Conversations were muffled, distorted, and often unintelligible. It was like trying to decipher Morse code in a hailstorm. I couldn't help but burst into laughter every time I attempted to have a conversation through the camera. Lastly, the IP66 weatherproof rating seemed promising, especially considering I live in an area prone to heavy rainstorms. Unfortunately, the camera failed to live up to this claim. After a particularly intense downpour, I discovered water had seeped into the camera housing, rendering it completely useless. It seemed the camera had mistaken the IP66 rating for an invitation to host its own water park adventure. In conclusion, my experience with the Hiseeu Security Camera Wireless Outdoor can be aptly described as a comedy of errors. The setup process was convoluted, the features were lackluster, and the performance was far from satisfactory. From its unreliable WiFi connection to its whimsical pan-and-tilt motion, this camera left me more amused than secure. While it may have potential as a source of entertainment, I cannot recommend it as a reliable security solution. Save your money and invest in a more reputable brand for your peace of mind.

Excellent buy!
I've purchased other Hiseeu cameras and have had zero problems with them. This particular review is for the 3MP Wireless Outdoor Security Camera and I wanted to share my opinion of it thus far. Setting it up was quick and easy. It connects to both 2.4g and 5g wifi which is good since some cameras still only support 2.4g. The app walks you through the setup process and only takes a few minutes. The 3mp resolution is clear and sharp. The night vision is impressive a well. The camera has a wide viewing angle, and with its ability to pan and tilt it makes it easy to adjust the coverage area reducing the chances of missing anything important. The auto motion tracking works smoothly, following movement automatically and keeps whatever is being followed in view. The person or "human" detection feature helps cut down on false alerts from things like passing cars or dogs etc.. Notifications arrive quickly to my phone, and you can easily fine-tune the sensitivity settings to get it just right. The two way audio feature is really cool and doesn't have much of a delay at all. Like the other hiseeu outdoor cameras I've bought, it's waterproof and it looks to be built just a well. I also noticed that there are no external antennas like the other wireless ones I've bought. I thought at first that not having them would affect the wireless connection distance but it connected without any problems. It has cloud and sd card storage so you’re not limited to just one method. I use the sd card method and it works fine. I think the cloud service offers some benefits but I'm happy with just the sd card. The app makes it simple to go back and review recordings, and playback is smooth without any lag. It's also Alexa compatible so I can pull up the video feed hands free. It also allows me to share access with multiple people, which is great for keeping everyone in the household connected to the camera feed. Overall, I’ve been really happy with this camera. It was simple to set up, provides great video quality, and the features work as expected. So... If you need a reliable outdoor security camera with solid performance at the right price this is one is definitely worth it. I'll update my review if my opinion changes.

Very decent functions for the price?
I like this model because it doesn't have antennae sticking up above the unit. All functions are good. The only problem I have is the focus on the one I received was slightly off. I waited awhile after receiving it before actually installing and testing it, and was uncertain whether I could get it replaced or adjusted. I chose to use it as is, but would have liked to have had a clearer image from it.

5g wifi camera
I’ve been using the Hiseeu Wireless Security Camera Outdoor 3MP 2.4G/5G WiFi for a while now and overall I’m really impressed with how well it performs. One thing I noticed when reading reviews before buying is that some people said it doesn’t support a 5G network. But in my experience I’ve connected it through my 5G WiFi and it worked just fine with no issues. The camera runs smoothly when I monitor it with very little lag which I really appreciate. The video quality is sharp and clear especially for a 3MP camera. What really stood out to me is how well the night vision works. Even in complete darkness the image is surprisingly clear and reliable for 24/7 monitoring. If you’re looking for an affordable outdoor security camera with a stable connection and solid features this one is worth considering.

They don’t work properly
I've had the cameras for a week, trying to get them to work with my DVR and I can't get the same results with the ones I bought previously. These are used, the previous ones were new and I had good results.

Great camera, costly monthly feea, loses connection
Like all these wifi security cams, I'm expected to pay $30/mo for cloud services and even after I pay whatever each requires, I still can't get any images and keep losing connection. It's a fine camera, but I have a mishmosh of varying brands that don't play well together.
