This is the single best metallic paint for miniatures, hands down. If you are having any doubts, just go ahead and buy it (or another one from this line), you won't be disappointed. Coverage is amazing, it airbrushes beautifully and easily with no thinning needed, and the variety of colors is perfect. It works really well to do a base coat of one of the darker metals and then a zenithal highlight of a lighter one and the transition is seamless. It's a little pricey, but 100% worth it.

These are my favorite metallic paints that I've used for mini painting, and this is a good selection of colors. They're airbrush consistency, but work just fine with a brush as well.

I've only had a chance to try the Aluminum color so far but it looks great once you get the hang of it. I would suggest spraying it on a practice piece at first. It wants to be used over a primer, (I recommend black) and for my first test I didn't thin it, because it seems very thin already, and is meant to be sprayed in light coats and built up. I did 4 coats 5 min apart and that worked okay but I might even go lighter with a tiny bit of Airbrush flow enhancer in the future as I got just a bit of bumpyness this time. You need the surface to be perfectly smooth or everything will show through, which I think was my problem. I have a very tight area to prep/sand and I don't think it got it perfect. The other area I sprayed, that was perfectly smooth came out great.

I bought these along with the other 4-pack of AV metallics. They are airbrush ready but go on smoothly with a brush. Coverage is very good. They complement my GW paints. Some of the colors are more suited to airplane or cars, but they are useful on WH 40K machines and some of the colors are super close to GW paints at a much lower price (especially in this 4-pack). These are perfect for WW2 minitiatures but they are excellent for Fantasy as well. I had to buy Copper and Gold separately because they're not in these bundles. Both of this colors are a different shade to GW paints, so they fit perfectly.

The metallics in this set make for a great metallic gradient. They look great on my necrons and on my slaves to darkness armies.

My new favorite metal paints for warhammer miniatures. I have tried many other metals from Army Painter, GW, Model color these are my favorite though. The color looks amazing,but what really sold me is how well they lay down. One coat over primer is usually all this needs and it lays down effortlessly. If you need a good metal for minis this stuff works amazing. I will definitely be trying more from this paint range in the future.

The silver metallics are truly a cut above other metallics I have used so far. I have only used them with a brush, but one coat coverage has been possible with these. I am not very impressed by the copper color though. The results appear to be more like a regular paint than a metallic in my opinion. My main gripe is with the containers. All but one of them leak paint after shaking them. I'm not sure I would buy these again. I think the competition is gaining ground and the price tag for 3/4 good paint colors will probably drive me to try some newer generation alternatives.

Non hanno cattivo odore, coprono bene, sono acrilici vinilici, possono essere una alternativa agli smalti di altre Marche similari ma che a mio avviso hanno una resa migliore a patto di resistere al tanfo che hanno gli smalti.

Needs a bit of skill and patience but gives an excellent metallic colour. Even the chrome looks realistic and gives a great shine. Nicer alternative to lacquer metallics and easier to use.

These paints are very thin but have superb coverage. I have a lot of Vallejo paints and the Metal Colour range in my opinion are some of the best
