I’ve been using the UYYA Tape In Hair Extensions in Shade 8 Light Brown 12 inches 20 pcs 40 g per pack for quite a while now well over ten orders at this point and they continue to be my go to choice. Finding extensions that match my exact hair color has always been a challenge especially since the box dye I’ve used for the past six years Garnier Nutrisse B3 Spiced Rum was discontinued in stores. I still buy the dye online and these tape ins match that shade perfectly. I typically use two packs for fullness and the blend looks seamless once I trim just a small amount to match my natural hair length. The hair feels soft looks natural and handles heat well. I regularly use heated rollers for styling and as long as I avoid heavy oils each installation lasts me close to three weeks. One tip that has helped me extend the wear time is doubling up on the adhesive. The product includes additional tape strips and adding them to the existing tape gives noticeably stronger hold. Overall these extensions are reliable reasonably priced and consistently high quality. After many repeat purchases I can say they deliver exactly what I need every time. I love them and will keep coming back.

Three years ago I got really sick and spent most my days in and out of Neuro Icu units, the EEG tape ripped out chunks of my hair over 2 years leading to my diagnosis. It was devastating. A friend recommended I try tape ins until my hair started to come back. I had never had extensions, and I definitely was afraid of the idea of doing themself having already lost so much of my pretty hair. The local salon wanted over a thousand dollars for tape ins, I found out they got the hair from this company, and that the charges were a lot of random tack ons, and a surplus hourly rate. I got on YouTube started watching videos and made my order. If you’ve never put tape ins before- trust me it’s too easy. If you have every placed a sticker on a sheet of paper you’ll be fine. Infact my 6 year old did the back of my hair, it’s just matching one sticker to line up to another sticker. I thought for sure because of the cost the hair wouldn’t be good. It’s flawless. It’s silky, it’s healthy, and it’s consistent. The quality has always been good- you can trust this company to provide constant good product! I had tried going to a local hair shop to compare it to the “high end” hair and I found out it all bs, the local hair shop hair wasn’t better because it was more money, it was more money because of; shipping, paying a store front, paying an employee etc etc. This hair is top notch- you just got really lucky finding it. The hair is real. 100%. It hold up to heat and styling extremely well and If I’m lazy about care they last 2 uses- for me that’s 6 months. But I usually just buy a new set every month. I mean the quality and the price why not?! But if you did want to reuse, they are good quality and you can, I’m just too lazy to retape lol. I had tried other companies on Amazon because I wasn’t sure if I was missing something, maybe there were a lot of companies like this- no, there aren’t. Don’t bother. Don’t risk wasting money. Stay with these guys. The damage concern was big for me, turns about its more to do with the type of tape used. I don’t know what magic has been applied to these but the tape is strong enough to hold through going to the gym 6 days a week but when it’s time to take them out I’ve literally just put conditioner in, sat in the gym steam room and they just fell out, no pulling, no tearing Best part is: having them in has made me treat my own hair better, I wash it less, I comb more gently and I wrap it at night. My hair is healthier because I use tape ins now. The customer service is AMAZING. I love these people!!!!!!! They send the package always with some type of bonus gift. But even better inside they provide a card for customer service that gives you a million ways to contact them. Unlike other companies who intentionally try to make it difficult to communicate, they WANT to do a good job for you. First off let me say that I have bought these extensions at least 10 times and have loved them ALWAYS...except for the past two purchases I made. I recommended them to my girlfriends, even my hair dresser loved them and said they were good quality. The last time I purchased them (Around a month and a half ago) I thought maybe I over did it with the heat, which is weird to me now because I may have put heat to them 3 or 4 times. At that point they got so crunchy and had so many split ends (where the pieces of hair were basically just breaking off when I brushed my hair). I was pretty upset after spending $130 on them. Especially because I can usually use these extensions for at least 2 to 3 months. I usually remove them after the first month clean them all up and have my hair dresser reinstall and move them up in my hair. Not this time they were so crunchy and Frizzed out I had to throw them away and buy brand new ones. Mind you I get 22 inch extensions and they are not cheap, to just be throwing them away in order to buy a new pair (cost me close to $260). So I decided to give them a try again and they are currently in my hair as I'm typing. I have had them in since Dec 16th and let me tell you how dry and brittle they are AGAIN. Mind you I have only straightened them 2 times and curled them once. I like to let my hair dry naturally a lot in a silk bonnet at night time, and when it dries thats usually hoe I wear it. If you look at the pictures (and I'm sorry because it's so gross) you can see how split and frayed they are after such a short amount of time Mind you that's only a SECTION of my hair. They are so crispy and dry, I even went back to my hair dresser and she agreed. Also mind you, that I use 100$ worth of hair products which have helped my hair to grow an amazing amount. And were recommended by my hair dresser whose been doing hair for 10 years. I don't know what happened to the quality of these extensions, but it's really sad to see it. I understand the supply issues due to covid , but lessening the quality of your product is not the way to go. Sadly, I will not be purchasing these extensions anymore and I recommend anyone who reads this review to do the same. These are not real hair and now contain synthetic pieces which you can see in the picture I posted (where the hair is balled up at the bottom and got crinkly). Such a shame because I always spoke so highly of these extensions.

Ive used this brand of tape ins since I started almost two years ago! The hair its self is amazing, doesnt tangle easily, last a long time. I usually can get 9 months out of my extensions and I heat style almost every day! They're thick and amazing. Ive used the red and the jet black!
