I have had my Bose SoundLinkMini for over 10 years. The sound is outstanding. It started not holding power, unexpectedly turned off when it was charged &/or was on the charger, intermittently would not charge when on the charger, etc. Researching it could be the base charger or the battery. I thought of replacing the whole unit but comments stated the newer models did not have the same great sound. I am so happy I got this battery. It is easy to install. I charged it for a day before using it and all the problems I was having with the unit are gone. I have the great sound back. I have had it off the charger for over a week and it is still playing. I highly recommend this particular battery.

Leaving this review for others who have the Bose Mini SoudLink Series 1 who are trying to decide if they want to replace the battery or the unit. Looking at the reviews this was a tough call. Almost didn't purchase this battery, but am glad I did. Arrived in 2 days and had my Bose running tip top again in just a few minutes. For those asking themselves whether they should purchase a new battery, make sure that your issue is indeed a battery issue (i.e. your old battery still works but its run time has gone from 8 hours to something much less), but otherwise your Bose is still working fine. If this is the case, then this battery is probably for you. If your unit fails to turn on or blinks red without reason, then you may look into purchasing a new unit. You may have another issue such as a controller, etc.

Sadly this battery will not hold charge. I can unplug from the charger when the fully charged led is green and can use it right away. At this point I can use at low volume for an hour at most. If I unplug Once charged and leave OFF for a day or more it will not turn on, I need to charge again. While charging, it may become green when fully charged but if i do not unplug the carger it will start blinking orange again, as if not fully charged. Another thing I noticed is that now the "ON" led does not work, nor the AUX white led or the Bluetooth indicator. All those lights were operational with the original battery. This is not right, I expected a fully funtional speaker. It does not hold charge and so it forces me to move it around with the charging adapter which basically defeats the purpose of charging it to take it with me. Installation is easy enough as it is a copy of the original battery and it includes the tool to remove the screews but what is the use if it does not function right? very sad with the result.

I gave this 2 stars at first because I had an issue. However, the seller contacted me and did its best to make it right. I respect that. So I can now give the product 4 stars. Bottom line. In my life I have found that Generic replacement parts are never as good as originals. But they might be “good enough.” This product is good enough for the price. The GOOD. It will fit (sort of) the Bose Soundlink Mini I (not the II) and it get your speaker working again. It charged just fine with no issues. So I am happy with the purchase because I really like the speaker and could not use it without a new battery (which BOSE DOES NOT SELL ANYMORE). Shame on BOSE. THE BAD. #1. it is not an EXACT fit. This battery is slightly taller than the original battery that Bose provided. As a result, you will have to pull and stretch the rubber gasket some to get it to fit back on the speaker after making the switch.....I managed it. #2. The instructions that came with the battery says it has a 2 year expected life. We will see but that is on the short side.

The battery was easy to install and I've been using it for a while now and my SoundLink Mini works pretty much just like new. Battery life is pretty much exactly what you'd expect and so far I've had no issues. SoundLink Mini is now a fairly old speaker, but still one of the best portable speakers Bose has ever made. If you're finding that your speaker no longer holds a charge or cuts out when the volume is high, it's likely the battery has reached the end of its lifespan. If you're looking for a new battery and don't mind going off brand, I would definitely recommend this battery to replace your dying original battery.

The battery worked as expected an was simple to install. The only tricky part was that the instructions say to discharge the battery to 3% before recharging fully to 100%. There is no way to tell the battery charge this precisely on my Bose SoundLink Mini 1, only 70%+ (Green), 20 - 70% (Yellow), or -20% (Red). When I installed the battery, the battery indicator showed Yellow, so I ran it for a few hours until it stopped working. I was worried that I may have discharged it to 0%, which it says will shorten the battery life and cause damage to the battery. I was able to then recharge it fully (took a few hours) and it seems to be working fine so far. I used it for a couple hours today and the battery indicator still shows green.

Straight forward to fit but the lifespan on my unit was less than 1 year.

12/2/2021 Seller sent a new battery free of charge. They practically overnighted it. It took awhile to install as I'm not always home. I charged the new battery and tested it. It last a long time, have not clocked it, and it does hold a charge. I have let it sit for about a week or so, and it stays charged and still last longer then standard battery. Thanks for the great service, quick response and sending a new battery. 10/23/21 Recently changed to 2 stars, due to seller is sending me a new battery, to fix the problem. We will see the quality of the new battery. Thanks to seller for reaching out. The battery does have a long battery use, after fully charged. However, if you charge the battery, and leave the speaker turned off and stored for a week. The battery is 100% depleted. While it does last longer. It doesn't hold a charge. Would not recommend, unless you plan to use, recharge and reuse daily. I may just buy an upgraded bose speaker. Purchased April 10, 2021, today October 16, 2021, its already not holding a charge

Perfektes Ersatzteil für Bose Mini Sound. Wir hätten sonst den kleinen Booster entsorgen müssen und freuen uns über das funktionierende Ersatzteil. Schraubendreher für die winzigen Schräubchen war mit dabei und der Austausch ruck-zuck erledigt.

Ottimo prodotto, nella confezione anche il cacciavitino Torx T8 (non comune) per lo smontaggio e rimontaggio della batteria. Dopo l'attivazione ben descritta nel foglietto illustrativo, il Bose è ritornato alla sua lunga autonomia in musica.
