As just a DYIer remodeling a bedroom...These large joint knives are great for doing a skim coat with USG Green Label mud. Just remember to thin your mud to the point where its easy to work with. The build quality is great especially for a knife of this width. The actual width is 23 5/8" exactly for those of you who like details. You won't be disappointed with this tool!

This is an espectacular tools if you really know how to second and skimcoat , i highly recommend

A neat tape knife but you need to load a lot of that compound in it to spread it across the surface with ease.

To start , it arrived with a a tiny dent on the edge. Not huge but noticable. I really needed it for the following day so I didn't bother to go through the whole exchange ordeal. We were able to "undent" the edge nicely and it had no effect to it's function. Easy to handle and overall did nicely. Only drawback it the blade is very stiff and could use a bit of flex to it.

I am very pleased with the tool. Saves a lot of time.

This trowl does a beautiful job and is just the right flex th lay the mud on very flat for a wide pattern that needs no more coats of mud and next to no sanding if trowled slowly
