Great size for 14lb dog
Towards the end of his life, my 14lb schnauzer was having mobility issues and I needed to find an easier way to carry him to and from places. Finding a carrier that was both large enough to fit him, sturdy enough to support his weight, and padded enough to be comfortable for me. This sling was perfect. In this photo, I’m presenting him a bit forward, but it was easy and comfortable for me to walk with him on my hip. He is sitting up in this photo but could actually lie down inside comfortably as well. I also cinched the netting to further keep him in place. I’m so grateful for the extra mobility it gave to both of us in his last few weeks and would recommend this to anyone in a similar situation.

Upgraded
I got the first one for my sister. She lost it of course. I recently bought another one for her and this company has upgraded this item from the last one. The shoulder padding is thicker than before and they made it larger than the original one. I have tested it for the wieght with my beagle mixes and it can hold more than 20lbs comfortably. She uses it for her service dogs when she goes to crowded places so her dogs do not get stepped on. Her dogs weighs about 17lbs and fit it perfectly. They also added an extra pocket. This sling is very well made and makes dogs comfortable being carried.

Good purchase, but not at deep as it looks in photos
I bought this because my puppy broke his hind leg at 3-1/2 months old and I wanted to still take him on walks with our other dog. There is no solid bottom so it really is like your dog is sitting in a bag, but the bag is more the shape for his body. So it seems to work. The fabric at first seemed thin but I actually think it is pretty sturdy and it is comfortable to wear and the strap is well padded. If you live in a warm climate, it can be warm to both wear this and be in it for long periods. (I noticed both me and my dog seemed to heat up!) My dog was about 13 or 14 lb when he used this. He is a thinner body type so he was probably taller than most puppies that weight. Because of his height, I'd always keep one hand on him whenever possible when using this sling to make sure he stayed in place. My only criticisms would be that the seller photos make the sling look much deeper than it actually is. When folded in half flat into a front and back, the actual pouch is about 11 in deep. That is not allowing for the width of your dog. So once you leave about 4 or 5 inches for the width of a dog, the sides only go up six or seven inches. There is a generous mesh top that has a drawstring that goes all around the opening. It is about four to five inches deep. So, for my dog when I put him in this, I would draw up the mesh portion and tighten it around his shoulders. The fabric part of the bag would stop around his chest or tummy and then the rest would be just the mesh. (My dog is a rat terrier mix, but he has a thinner body and longer legs.). I will take a picture to try to show the depth. There is a small strap that comes from inside with a hook to help encourage keeping your dog in the sling. My other criticism is, it does have pockets, but none large enough for a phone. Thats not a huge deal, but it would just be convenient. Overall-- I liked this sling and now that my dog has a healed leg, I'm passing it on to my daughter for her cat. I think if my dog were just a little smaller in height, it would've worked better... It I have a string bean of a dog.

Cute, too long, no structure
Positive: material and quality both seem good —if you want a heavy duty waterproof material. Size is fine for a puppy (10 lb poodle terrier mix fits with good room to spare.) Depth is ok / not too deep so she is able to stick her head out and is not stuck down inside. Not so great: As others have said, the strap that goes over your shoulder is too long even when cinched up all the way. I’m 5’7” and it is still too long for me -when I walk it is hitting my upper thigh area which makes it bounce a lot and I end up holding the dog and carrier up higher making the carrier almost useless. Also, the material is quite thin so there is no structure at all, there’s no where for the dog to put her head and the edge of the top where her head sticks out has a not so soft edge that is uncomfortable where it rubs on her neck. I’m trying to fold over the edge. The material gets hot and is not breathable obviously, since it is waterproof, but it is hot for the dog to be in here in 80 degree+ weather. No padding on the shoulder area makes it hurt after a bit of time, but its minor.

Believe the bad reviews.
I wanted a sling for my 20lb senior dog. This is the right size, but it has no structure; it’s just a shapeless sack. We used it once, briefly, and the mesh tore. It was a PITA to get a my dog in this thing. Once in, she was comfortable briefly. Wish I’d listened to the other reviews. Do. Not. Buy. Frequently returned item for a reason.

Lifesaver with comfort and quality
Woman over 70, broken foot (cannot put weight on it, doctors orders), stairs, bedrooms and bathroom upstairs, a 13 year old chihuahua with severe arthritis and a collapsed disc who has to be carried up and down the stairs and we needed help. This carrier works amazingly well. My Bella is very comfortable and I can tell feels much more secure than even before I broke my foot and was carrying her. It’s comfortable for me too. The padding on the strap is perfect. The drawstring closing with the mesh is a great idea. All in all it’s been a great help for us oldies. I highly recommend this product if you need a sling to help carry your larger pet. Mine is a chunky 10 pounder and a bit on the long side, 17”. Thank you to the person/ persons who designed this, job well done.

This bag seems to be the right one
I have a 17 Pound BOLONKA Dog, which is similar to a Havanese in size and length. He has outgrown all his other slings, and this one seems perfect The material is very light, But that's what I was looking for in a dog sling because I travel a lot The shoulder strap seems very comfortable and I believe there's a clip inside to clip your dog so it doesn't jump out. The my dog won't jump out and it's nice and deep.

Worked wonders
This has worked really great so far! My little dog can’t go as far as I’d like to hike or our other big dog. I am able to get her in the sling on my own after she gets tired on the walks/hikes and she lays comfortably more at an upwards angle. I usually have her front paws sticking out and she is good. Usually she stays either till the end or almost and when she moves I know she’s like to walk again. I do put my hand by her head to brace her closet to me since the walking and how she is positioned she moves a bit. She doesn’t want to lay flat in it. She’s 15 pounds and the sling is comfortable but does start to hurt my shoulder a bit after a while. Overall very happy with this product and it has really helped our outings!
