Works great first time buying one
Worked great. I did have to buy a connector to connect and make an Easy to install since it had the factory female end for my 2010 Toyota tundra with tow package.

works great
These are excellent, simple to use brake controllers. Ive been using a couple of this exact model for years, and will continue to use them as i have a need in tow rigs.

Great Brake Controller
I bought this brake controller for $30 on Amazon NIB. Saw it at walmart that evening for $65 so I got a very great deal. I also purchased the quick connect harness for my truck and had this thing installed in literally less than 10 minutes. Since it's setup for 3 braking axles it is highly effective with single or double braking axles as well. I pulled a 16' car hauler 1300 miles one weekend and 1/2 of that distance was loaded with an 82 volkswagon pickup truck, diesel engine and multiple parts from a vw rabbit. The terrain varried from rolling hills to flats and then some pretty large hills. The controller worked as expected with no trouble. It was extremely easy to setup and use. The digital display makes setting the brakes the easiest ever. I have had multiple controllers that had the little dial that you turn and they can be troublesome when trying to get them set. Now all I have to do is hit the up or down arrow and it's set to the braking power I need.

Solid choice for trailer brake control
This is my second Agility controller. Both work very well once the sensitivity and braking level are adjusted to best control the trailer/RV. The smaller tow vehicle required a lower setting (to compensate for the harder brake application), and the larger one required a little less sensitivity, but these adjustments are easily done on the fly. One vehicle required wire-surgery, while the other was installed quickly with an adapter cable. The application is primarily to control a single-axle travel trailer coming in at ~ 3,000 lbs empty, and the Agility turned out to be a good choice in both cases.

works well, no harness
It wasn't 100% clear to me, but this product comes with no harness/plug. There are 4 wires out of the unit, approx 3 in long, to a female plug. To get the male side, the harness for your truck must be purchased separately. I cut the plug and wired directly, but am mildly annoyed by the design set to force a secondary purchase. 4 stars because the control works very well. Non emergency, but very hard stop engaged all brakes immediately with only slight chirp from tires. Set up in 5 min after install. Would give 5 stars w/o wiring issue.

Defect or lousy quality control?
I originally bought this to replace an older Hopkins Brake Force timed unit that was failing. The install was a snap, as the bracket holes in the dashboard were the same and the Plug In Simple connector was the same as I already had. Yay. After calibrating the unit, it stopped the trailer much smoother than the old timed unit. HOWEVER.... Regardless of the power setting or sensitivity setting, the unit would send 10% power to the trailer the instant I pressed the brake pedal. This was regardless of speed, as it would happen at a dead stop, forwards or even in reverse. Depending on the amount of horses in my trailer (empty to 3 head), it may or may not briefly lock up the trailer brakes, jerking the trailer and tow vehicle-and making the horses stumble for balance. I had also adjusted my trailer's drum brakes to proper specs. I contacted the manufacturer via email. They responded the next morning with a diagnoses of "being a defective unit". I ordered a replacement through Amazon. I installed the 2nd unit and took my empty trailer for a drag. The same problem occurred. There was that annoying 10% initial signal to the trailer. I then contacted Amazon customer service via phone, and they instructed me to return both units for a full refund, shipping pre-paid. I finally ordered a Tekonsha Primus IQ and installed that. NIGHT AND DAY. There is no jerking of the trailer whatsoever. It is like there is no trailer behind me when I apply the brakes. It also has more features than the Agility and a cute little DVD on how to install it and calibrate the unit. Bottom line, save the headache of a marginal unit; spend the extra 15 bucks on the Tekonsha.

Took a bit to dial in but now is working great, no more electric brake squeals and jerky stops. Happy with the purchase.
