I use these Alpine MusicSafe Pro earplugs when I’m banging away on my dhol during practice sessions up in the attic—which, trust me, is loud enough to wake the neighbors and maybe a few stray cats. These little plugs have been a total game-changer. They don’t just muffle the sound; they reduce the volume evenly so I can still hear the rhythm and keep the beat without turning my ears into mush. It’s like turning the volume down on a speaker instead of just slamming the mute button. Comfort-wise, they’re pretty slick. I can wear them for hours without feeling like my ears are being squeezed or about to stage a revolt. Plus, the included case keeps them clean and easy to find when I’m ready to jam again. If you’re rocking out on something loud—whether it’s drums, guitar amps, or your neighbor’s leaf blower—these earplugs are a solid bet to keep your hearing intact without killing the vibe.

They work well for me. Very comfortable, easy to insert. Reasonable price. The positive reviews on these convinced me to give them a try. I used them at band rehearsal with the maximum filters. We play loud. I was amazed at how well they blocked out the volume of the instruments. Almost too much! The best result was that the plugs help me to hear my vocals in my head so I can control my pitch. Which has been a lifetime battle for me, LOL!

I wore these for 4 hours at a concert standing on the rail right in front of the speakers and had no tinnitus after. At times it felt like the right side was not fitting as well because the sound was slightly more but then realized it was because that ear was closer to the speakers. They we super comfortable to wear and I could still hear the music well and note when people next to me were talking to me. Only improvement I could see for these would be a clear or skin tone cord and a clip on the cord so if they get pulled out or you take them out for a bit they’re still attached to you. Definitely considering purchasing a back up/travel pair or two.

I like that these are light, customizable, and of seemingly good quality material. The design is faulty, though. The studs are short, so it's difficult to get them in and out without touching the inner ear with (hopefully clean) fingers. The filters are also extremely difficult to change out, as the parts are very small but very tightly fitting (I'm a 30 yr old with no motor skill issues). Lastly, the fact that you get 3 different sets (of two) filters and 3 buds is ridiculous. If you're already including an extra in there "just in case", include one more so that people can have their "loud" and "quiet" or "medium" sets paired and ready to go, and not fumble with changing out filters and breaking their fingers in the process. Overall it's an ok product, just not one I would drop 30 bucks on again.

I've been searching for an earplug for the right ear as a flute player to protect my hearing, especially on higher notes. The Etymotic ES20s are decent, but dulls the lower range a bit too much, making me lose a lot of the subtlety in hearing the overtones. The white ones (16 NRR - lowest one) for this set of ear plugs let in the low notes almost like I wasn't wearing the plugs, and lowers the volume of the high notes without removing any of the overtones. It's quite amazing when comparing with the Etymotics. Even the grey one (19 NRR - medium one) lets in more subtlety with similar volume reduction as the Etyomtics. Finally, having 3 silicone ear plugs where I can attach any of the 3 noise reduction "stems" means I can have all 3 levels in my container, and swap in whatever I need in my right ear depending on the situation. The performance and flexibility of these ear plugs just can't be beat! Oh, and it's also much shorter and hidden than the Etymotics. :)

These have saved my ears over the past year and a half in the front row at main stage all three days of Ultra 24, half a dozen DJ sets in Vegas, Ushuaïa in Ibiza, and a Rüfüs Du Sol concert. Couldn’t recommend them enough and would buy another pair in a heartbeat in case something happened to them.

Bought these for me and my sister to attend a concert with early this month, and they worked perfectly. I put them in once the warmup act came on stage, and I could hear the performers almost as if they weren't in at all, while the cheers (and shrieks) of the crowd were almost nonexistent. Both of us have sensitive hearing and definitely would have left that venue with ringing ears if we had not had these, but I took them out at the end and was fine! Love the different options available for how much noise you want to block out, really simple solution to the problem of everyone having different hearing needs.

Très bon produit. Première utilisation, j'ai voulu les retourner. Une sensation d'atténuation trop faible, et pas confortable du tout. En fait, je les mettais mal, j'enfonçais trop, je forçais... ça m'a énervé. J'essaye à nouveau le lendemain calmement en suivant la méthode conseillée (tirer légèrement vers le haut l'oreille en mettant le bouchon délicatement)... je trouve le bon mouvement... et là plus de problème. Donc au final: -facile à mettre quand on a trouvé le truc (ce n'est pas compliqué mais il faut essayer au calme chez soi et le porter qlq heures pour trouver le truc et ne pas galérer en concert). -Très confortables, aucune douleur, aucun désagrément. -Atténuations adaptées pour un concert, soirée, environnement bruyant mais avec possibilité de parler/téléphoner. (Par contre pas adapté selon moi pour dormir, il faut une atténuation plus forte, et je dors sur le côté ce qui est gênant avec un bouchon en partie rigide.) PS: anecdotique, mais c'est parfait pour qlq'un qui utiliserait comme moi un casque à conduction osseuse (type shokz open run). Avec l'effet oreille bouchée, ça amplifie les ondes du casque sur les tampes. On entend mieux les appels téléphoniques ou la musique du casque, tout en étant moins parasité par les bruits extérieurs. Super combo!

Excelente producto. Los estrené en el concierto de Avenged Sevenfold con el filtro de atenuación de 22 dB y funcionaron de maravilla. Con estos protectores auditivos ya no terminaré aturdido después de cada concierto.

I bought these for ear protection while riding my motorbike. They’re compact, comfortable, and effective. I did 4.5hrs of highway and country roads today and they were great. The tether and case are handy features too.
