Review: High quality halyard works well in high winds. - I use this rope as the halyard on my 32’ flagpole with a 5’ x 8’ nylon flag. I live in a high wind area so a sturdy, low-stretch halyard is required. I’m very satisfied with the quality and price. I tied the ends together with a zeppelin bend and placed the bend between the snap swivels. That way, there’s no knot to contend with when hardening the halyard and tying it off on the cleat.

I use this rope as the halyard on my 32’ flagpole with a 5’ x 8’ nylon flag. I live in a high wind area so a sturdy, low-stretch halyard is required. I’m very satisfied with the quality and price. I tied the ends together with a zeppelin bend and placed the bend between the snap swivels. That way, there’s no knot to contend with when hardening the halyard and tying it off on the cleat.
