Exceeding my expectations
I bought this a month ago after researching a set of options (including the Dolphin Sigma and various other sub-$1000 robots). I wanted to give it a few weeks before I wrote a review and try it out, and I have to say I'm glad that I bought this (even at the higher price). Getting going was pretty easy. Could this have used a better user manual? Sure, but I had it up and running in about 30 mins. I wasn't sure how to "diagonalize" the float handle out of the box (see below) but just tried it at max diag. The controls (on the app) for setting a cycle, monitoring progress, etc. are fairly simple to use, and complete enough for everything I need to do. It is true that the "drive by app" feature isn't great -- it has a 2 second lag between command and actuation, but once you know that, you can get it to the place you want to go if you have a tough spot you want to hit manually. And you can start it from anywhere using your phone once it is tied into your WiFi, I start mine from the grocery store or wherever. In terms of cleaning, this thing is really pretty excellent, honestly my pool has never looked so good with so little effort, and this in the dead of winter when my pool is typically full of leaves, twigs, dirt, and other assorted muck. This robot has probably saved me about 2-3 hours per week (if not more) of sweeping and vacuuming my pool, which is a 25K gallon in-ground rectangle with some curve-y sides. the 2.5 hour cycle I have been running once every other day or once per day when I think about it and that seems to cover the entire thing. The robot climbs walls pretty effectively and does wall cleaning. There are adjustments for the "float handle" for putting that in place to make the robot either "stay high" on the walls for extended time or not. I have put it on the highest setting, and it seems to "crawl" along the water line (cleaning as it goes) for about 2-6 feet on this setting. But most of the time it spends on the floor of the pool with forays up walls. I think that makes sense. A couple of points on cleaning (pros): * Both sets of filters seem to pick up fine dirt/sand (which I have a lot of) and I can't tell much of a difference. * Leaves-twigs-etc -- gets all of that stuff no prob * Cleaning the filters -- really simple, easy, takes 3-5 mins every few days. Way way easier than I used to do (pole-mounted vacuum, cleaning the sock filter a pain). I could probably clean these filters once a week or two, but I get a lot of stuff in my pool so I've been playing it safe * Goes over raised drain covers no problem. I was considering the cheaper Dolphin Sigma model but there were some comments that that model would get stuck on top of the covers. I wasn't sure if this model would have the same problem, but it doesn't -- goes right over them. * It also climbs curved concave and convex walls. This surprised me, I thought the laws of physics would preclude a concave wall climb, but somehow it has enough traction/suction to do just that. Nifty. Balanced issues (cons): * The robot will climb up steps (especially the deeper ones that are more "table-like") and clean those. But not very often and not consistently every cycle. I find I have to sweep some fine grit off the steps about once every week or two * Does the robot get "stuck" sometimes? Yes, I have one particular notch area in my pool where it will get itself jammed (lightly) in that notch and not be able to back out on its own. I'd say this happens once every 4 or 5 cycles, and I just gently pull it by the cable back away from that area and it goes back to cleaning the rest of the pool. Unknowns: * Can you really leave it in the pool for extended periods of time? I have left mine in so far for about a week at a time, but I'm not sure still if this will cause any long term harm. I try to take it out of the water for a "rest" a couple of days at a time once a week. Not sure if that is a good idea or a waste of time. I just hope this thing lasts. If I can get at least 18-24 months about of it, will be a huge win.

Do your homework.
Purchased in May 2024. On arrival the box was substantially damaged, poor interior packaging, certainly not original from factory and I was doubtful that the machine would operate properly so I elected to return it back to the pool supply store. The store would not accept a return without an outrageous restocking fee and shipping charge. I elected to try the cleaner and was relieved that it worked flawlessly with excellent results. I then downloaded the app and unfortunately it failed to connect with the app. I contacted the support team and tried numerous troubleshooting strategies. Each time the same communication error between the robot and app appeared, suggesting I reconnect the blue cable. I gave up and for a year accepted a manual machine without the app control. Mid June 2025 the Robot failed to operate. I tried contact with Maytronics via phone, web and email, all which were built in such a way as to thwart a customer from talking to support. Really suspect. It’s been a reasonable amount of time and still have not been contacted by the company. I took the robot apart to check the cable and found the water proof plastic cap holding the power cable to the impeller unit loose with water intrusion and extensive corrosion on the internally electrical fittings, thus the failure. Was this a refurbished unit? Continuity test revealed two open connections and paper thin metal on the connectors attached to the blue cord. New cord out of pocket $290.00. Buyer beware, the seller hides behind shipping and restocking fees, the company behind a web page and non existent support on the internet. No warranty as advertised.

Amazing pool cleaner, worth the cost
This thing has been a life saver for keeping our pool clean. I like to set it at night and let it clean the pool for the next day. We also have the Betta surface robot and it gets stuck on the cord of the Dolphin, so we can't leave it in the pool all the time. The app is very convenient and controls the robot well. You can even go in and see error messages to find out exactly why the robot stopped (e.g. filter is full, or something is stuck, etc.). You just drop it in the pool, select your cleaning, and let it go. Then, you get a notification when its done. It is expensive, yes, but worth the money and other reviews indicate that the company stands behind their product. The only CONS would be that it is heavy and could be a problem for some to maneuver. And, the power unit is not weatherproof, so, you can't leave it outside exposed. To solve that, I just built a little shelter out of scrap wood, leaving a few air gaps so that it doesn't overheat. I also bought a cord protector so that people don't trip over the cord. This thing is a life saver and means I don't have to waste hours trying to get crud out of my pool.

Amazing pool vacuum but there's still room for improvement
To start I will explain the pictures. I woke up last week with a nearby wildfire which had dropped a ton of Ash into my pool. To make matters worse my power got shut off and was out for a little over two days. As soon as my power turned on I started running my pool vacuum and cleaning it out every hour or so. After two days, 1 backflush of my pool filter and about 12 times of cleaning the Nautilus my pool is looking pretty clean. As you can see in the last picture there's still some ash, but looks at much better. It's still dropping Ash but now I only have to run the pool vacuum once in the morning. I gave it five stars because if it's amazing ability to clean up a messy pool quickly. However that would mean that this pool robot was perfect, which it is not. I have found that it does okay picking up oak leaves but does not like to pick up pine needles which I have a lot of in my area. Furthermore the filters that collect the debris do not fully seal. So with fine material like ash it will drop a lot out of the filters as soon as you go to lift the Nautilus out of the water. I however pulled the Nautilus out of the water quickly and let it drain and drop the ash outside of the pool. This makes the Nautilus quite heavy because it's holding close to a gallon or so of water plus the weight of the unit... Even if you had to let it drain down in the pool and drop the debris, it will most likely collect it on the next round of running the pool vacuum. In which case will just require more cleaning of the filters. I'm sure the same thing will be true during our pollen season. But I did not have this pool vacuum when that took place. So that being said I would rate it a four and a half Stars. But keep in mind this is an amazing pool vacuum and does a great job

Cleans great
Five stars for cleaning - four stars overall because it's a little clumsy to hook to Bluetooth and WiFi. This is my second Dolphin pool cleaner (the previous one didn't have WiFi). The cleaner itself works like a charm. With the touch of a button it will; start cleaning your pool walls, floor and water line. If you use Blue tooth you must stand within three feet of the cleaner's power box in order for it to work. All my other Bluetooth devices have better range. So in other words its range is about three feet. No big deal you can get your pool cleaner to start cleaning your pool in various modes. In order to connect to WiFi you also need to stand very close to the power box to get it to connect to your WiFi system. Once it's connected you can operate the pool cleaner using WiFi from say within your house. Your Network name can NOT have any special characters or it won't connect. This is the first WiFi device that I can't use special characters. No big deal for me as I set up another network name that is real simple. It also has to be on a 2.4 gig network - will not work on 5 or 6 gig networks. This will aggravate or confuse a lot of people but once it's set up it works fine. You can even use the WiFi to run the cleaner in manual mode which lets you steer it using your phone kind of like a joy stick. The filters top loaded so easy to access and clean. There are dual motors which makes it easier to steer / change direction. It does a great job of cleaning the pool.

I'm convinced
Update (11/2022) Power supply stopped working today. I contacted Maytronics and they shipped me a preplacement immediately. All in all, I'm starting to like this company. Yes, I've had a couple of issues, but Maytronics customer service has really come through for me. I honestly think at this point it would be unfair to give them anything less than 5 stars. I'm very impressed. I'd also like to state that out of the previous 3 pool robots I've owned, this model, by far, is the absolute best. It's still performing like a new machine and my pool stays spotless with a standard cleaning cycle every 3 days. ************************************** Update (8/12/22) Okay...First of all, apologies for not posting a follow-up to this review. I honestly had forgotten that I ever posted it. Sorry folks. After a couple of days of troubleshooting, I discovered the solution to my problem. Apparently my WiFi password was too long, (42 characters). After reducing it to 32, my Maytronics robot was suddenly able to talk to my network. Yes, I know 42 characters is an unusually long password, but in my defense, my other 30 or so wireless clients had no issues with it. If this limitation is documented in the manual, I couldn't find it. The app was no help either. So after a very rocky start, my robot has been performing exceptionally well for the last 2 years. Only maintenance has been the replacement of the climbing rings once a year. I'm almost due for new screens soon, but not quite there yet. Minor niggles would be the cord - After a 2.5hr run I have a twist or two that need tending. I also still have to brush my top step occasionally. Not big problems, but worth mentioning. All in all, I'm very pleased with my purchase and would have given it 5 stars without the WiFi hassle. Consider my 4 stars a solid 4.5. ******************************************* ORGINAL REVIEW: My unit will not connect to WIFI. I tried different access points and tried Android and Apple apps to try and finish the setup, but it will not connect. I called customer service and was on hold for 45 minutes. When the nice lady answered the phone and I explained what the problem was, she asked for my serial number and email address and said that she would send me a "troubleshooting tips" email so we can determine the problem. I was then put back on hold and several minutes later, I was disconnected. I called back and waited an hour on hold before giving up. (I was probably too angry at that point to carry on productive conversation anyway.) My only recourse now is to wait and see if they answer my tech support request that I submitted through their website, take a vacation day and call back again or try and set up an exchange through Amazon. The cleaner itself works great, but if you can't use the app, then you can't control the robot AT ALL. I honestly don't care about being able to steer the thing or anything fancy like that, I just want the robot to run on a schedule. Problem is, is that ALL the features are ONLY available through the app, which includes a simple cleaning schedule. There are no controls on the power supply whatsoever - just an on/off button, that's it. I don't want to come off as petty about my expectations of this product, but comon! - $1500 pool robots should not be having these issues. And locking every single control feature to an app without a backup method is just plain dumb. I should at least be able to have some fundamental control through bluetooth, (which connects fine, BTW), but apparently this robot needs to contact the mothership through WIFI before you can do anything with it. As for the handy "troubleshooting tips" email, it never arrived. I'm very disappointed with Maytronics.

This product is sub par and mShocking Failure for a “Premium” Product, doesn't work
This product is sub par and mShocking Failure for a “Premium” Product — Amazon Should Not Be Selling This I am genuinely shocked that a product as unreliable as the Dolphin Nautilus CC Supreme Wi-Fi Automatic Robotic Pool Cleaner is being sold on Amazon without stronger warnings, especially given the number of negative reviews already posted. For over $1,000, I expected a premium, dependable device. Instead, I received one of the most frustrating and poorly designed products I have ever purchased — and the worst part is that my unit isn’t even six months old. The cleaner worked for a short time when it was brand new, but the problems began almost immediately. The Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connection — one of the main features advertised — was unstable since day one. Some days it would connect, other days it would not, and eventually it stopped connecting entirely. The app cannot even scan the QR code on the power supply. The connectivity system feels unfinished, unreliable, and completely unacceptable for a product marketed at a premium level. What makes this situation absurd is that the device itself has now completely stopped functioning, barely half a year after purchase. I effectively have a $1,300 dead brick sitting at the bottom of my pool. No cleaning, no connectivity, no reliability. A product at this price should not catastrophically fail this quickly. Customer support has been equally disappointing — extremely limited hours, slow responses, and repetitive instructions to redo the same troubleshooting steps I had already completed multiple times. None of their suggestions resolved anything. At this point, my frustration extends beyond the manufacturer and toward Amazon itself. Amazon continues to sell this product despite numerous reviews describing the exact same failures, which raises serious concerns about Amazon’s vendor vetting, product oversight, and quality control. As a long-time Amazon customer, I am genuinely surprised — and disappointed — that Amazon is willing to associate its reputation with a device that clearly has a widespread pattern of problems. Frankly, this experience is making me reconsider future purchases on Amazon if this is the direction the platform is heading. Retailers cannot simply hide behind legal disclaimers while distributing products that repeatedly fail consumers in predictable and well-documented ways. Amazon should bear some responsibility for what it chooses to sell under its marketplace. This review reflects my experience truthfully and in good faith. Given that the product is less than six months old and has already failed completely, I am evaluating what further actions I may need to take as a consumer. I strongly discourage anyone from purchasing this product. It has been expensive, unreliable, and ultimately worthless.isses any reasonable expectation

Great Bot Doesn’t Get Stuck
Had a Sigma for 5 years never a problem other than it would get stuck on my hi profile drains. Bought two Polaris robots the last two years and each year drive gears wore out with finding the correct parts above impossible and water would infiltrate their motor housings. Bought the Nautilus CC Supreme this unit does not get stuck works great well built with real customer service. Only thing I miss about the Polaris was its large debris basket not that it.

So far so good - it cleans, though not as I expected it to
After reading quite a few negative reviews, I had few major concerns when I purchased this expensive item. People reported that eero extenders could be a problem, robot stuck in the middle of the cycle etc. However, in my case I had no problem connecting to an eero router even without turning off 5GHz (eero offers such an option via application) It quickly connected and started cleaning the pool. It got stuck at 23% the first time, but was able to complete the cycle the next time. To be honest, after opening the pool it's not in the best shape, so I did anticipate it will take multiple rounds to clean it up. I did anticipate that after the first pass it would be 80-90% clean, but in reality it's about 60%, so I assume it will take 3-4 rounds to clean it up completely. Still much better than doing it manually. The length of the cable is more than adequate. I was surprised to learn that the control block is not waterproof, but water-resistant, so it should not be exposed to water (i.e. rain will be a problem) Well, it's a minor issue to me. Also, wall climbing seems to be exaggerated. So far, I have not witnessed waterline scrubbing (still learning) It does climb the walls, but stops short below the surface without reaching the waterline. Maybe some other routine does that - still learning. I did not see the software issues one of the reviewers described (cut the schedule line), though the need for the cloud connection is concerning (cloud connection did not stop the robot from moving though) Lack of notification on the phone when the robot is stuck or cycle complete is also slightly annoying. Simple thing to do and would save a lot of hassle. Cleaning the filters is a super easy process. Bottom line - so far so good. I'll see how it works in a long run, but it's definitely a huge time and energy saver compared to the manual cleaning. Update 3 days later. The pool is not sparkly clean after 5th cycle (1 is thorough, others are regular as I do not see much difference to be honest) Those disconnects from "cloud" are getting annoying. Usually, the connection restores rather quickly, but I had once to disconnect power to restore the connection. It seems wifi functionality of Dolphin can be improved. Also, I cannot get the robot to get to the waterline. The video shows nice waterline scrubbing, but in my case it stops on the first angle between floor and vertical wall rather than climbing to the waterline. Furthermore, I am totally puzzled by the sentence in the manual that the handle must be adjusted diagonally. What does it mean? How? Instructions are not provided. The handle can be adjusted, no doubt, but what is the right position? And what's the difference does it make? I guess I'll have to experiment or call Dolphin to figure out.

READ FIRST BEFORE BUYING IT
I bought it June 2023. It stopped working June 2024. Had to send it to manufacturer to get it fix while it's under warranty. It worked for a week, now stopped again. Do I get a replacement or at least get assistance from this company? I will delete this review if they could help. I will complain to amazon about it if I don't hear from them.
