You’ve got to get the right ratio of air and water. It works great my son loved it until the dog ripped off the guys arm.

The item I received had an impossible to find slow leak, and would not stay fully inflated more than a few minutes. I'm not sure if it was because of the l lack of air inside, but once it was hit it would just lie down. I is supposed to sand back up so it can be hit again. Fortunately, it was only about $5. I just threw it away and called it a loss. Not worth trying to return or replace.

Since my daughter was in the womb I've always joked that she would turn out to be a UFC fighter because she was such a wiggle worm. Four years later, I'm contemplating whether to enroll her in jiu jitsu or other fighting sport because it comes so naturally to her. 😅 My husband and I have also joked that she needs a punching bag. I found this simple one for less than $8, figuring it would either show us her true interests in fighting sports and/or burn off some of her pent up energy. Well, good thing I didn't pay much for this "bad guy" as she likes to call him because it turns out she's not as big of a fighter as we imagined. She spent the first couple of days punching and kicking him around but quickly lost interest, so now he just stands in a corner of our living/dining room taking up space. He's made just like any other Intex inflatable product, with decent quality materials and decently durable construction. It works as expected and is of excellent value at less than $10.

My son LOVED this for the first week. Then after punching it down-it no longer popped back up :( My son is only 34" and 26# so it's not that he was to strong for it. Lol The problem is the seam between the air and water chamber. Water gets into the top and collects in the head when punched over, making it top heavy. If you drain the water -it works again for a few more punches. Then it's " mommy fix?" again. :(

Love the pirat ! The first one did not last an hour (air leak at the seams I think), I returned it and the second one is still up and standing after two weeks of abuse. The kids poke a whole in one arm, which was quickly and effectively repaired with Gorilla clear repair tape Gorilla Clear Repair . The pirat is beaten, thrown upside down, ridden on... and always comes back up, which delights the kids. We filled the base with sand. Great buy !

Popped first day

Bought this for my 4 year old grandson to fight with his Hulk hands. His father's first comment was "Now maybe you won't hit your sister". Per other reviewers, I filled the base with sand. Bounces back great when hit. I put a couple of pieces of strong packing tape over the plug. I didn't even want the chance of the plug coming out. I can't even imagine the mess the sand would make in the hands of a 4year old, with his 2 year old sister's help. I filled it a couple days before I gave it to him to give it a chance to leak if it was going to deflate on me. No leaks so far. I read that something called Plumbers Goop and (just plain) Goop will patch seams if needed. I like it so much, I bought two of the tigers for my small granddaughters. Great value for the very reasonable price!

Loved it! Thats all I need to say hours of fun to my son however it did burst but thats because he was chuckin it about alot lol

Diese Jungs sind echt super. Irgendwie sind sie ja häßlich, aber genau das finden die Kinder toll. Mein Sohn hat schon ordentlich gekämpft. Das Wasser muss man VOR dem Aufblasen reinmachen. Ja, steht auch in der Anleitung. Sollte man mal lesen.... wenn dann aber Wasser nachgefüllt werden muss (weil das Kind mal sehen wollte, was passiert, wenn der Knopf geöffnet wird....) dann braucht man die Luft aber nicht wieder rauszulassen. Wir haben noch keine Probleme mit dem Mann. Einmal aufgefüllt, jetzt steht er seit 3 Wochen bei Wind und Wetter im Garten und steht seinen Mann. Keine Luft verloren, kein Wasser verloren (außer s.o. als mein Sohn den Nüpsel geöffnet hat...), alles gut. Funktioniert als Steh-auf-Männchen einwandfrei und ist genau richtig von der Größe für einen 5jährigen zum Kämpfen. unser 3jähriger Nachbar versucht es auch immer mal, ist aber noch etwas zu dusselig und trifft nicht immer. Selbst Tritte quer durch den Garten haben dem Mann nicht geschadet. Jetzt nehmen wir ihn mal mit in den Urlaub. Mal schauen, wie er 2Wochen Campingplatz mit vielen Kindern verträgt.
