Great toothpaste, I really like this toothpaste because it's the only toothpaste out there that has baking soda; I really like the baking soda aspect of this toothpaste. Taste great, does a very good job cleaning teeth, leaves your mouth clean and your breathe very fresh. Zero complaints. I've been using this toothpaste for well over 10 years and will continue to do so. I've tried different other brands of toothpaste over the years, but I always come back to Arm and Hammer because I really like the baking soda in the toothpaste. I feel the baking soda adds an extra element and does a great job of cleaning my teeth.

Heredity and good dental hygiene practices all play a role in keeping teeth strong and dentist visits pleasant. I wanted as organic and natural ingredient toothpaste I could find. Plus, I wanted true fluoride. I have relied on this particular toothpaste for several years with reliable results. My dentist has been impressed and my scheduled visits are the delight of the hygienist, too! This paste has never irritated my gums. I find the taste mild and the texture pleasant. Flossing is important and partners perfectly with a toothpaste that does what it promotes!

Love that this toothpaste doesn't contain sorbitol, to which I'm highly sensitive (and not in a good way!). It has a pleasing & refreshing taste, and the requisite fluoride . A happy choice!

Toothpaste without sodium lauryl sulfate(SLS.) If you are like me, when I use a toothpaste that has SLS in it, the lining of my mouth tends to slough off. It's due to the detergent action of the compound. So this is a real benefit of the Arm & Hammer brand here for sensitivity in my mouth. It is also whitening and is a good value for the money. I give it 4 Stars of 5 bc the toothpaste is stiff. It's not easy to express from the tube and also stiff on my toothbrush. By working with it and brushing gently at first, I am able to get it limbered up. It foams well. It's not the absence of SLS, in case you're wondering. Other brands, like Native, that have no SLS in them are limber and easy to express from the tube. I think Arm & Hammer could reformulate the product and it'd probably be a good boost to its sales.

Excellent toothpaste and it has no sodium laryl sulfate so it doesn’t give me canker sores. It has Floride which is critical for dental health. The bicarbonate seems to clean my tartar better than most toothpastes.

Out of nowhere I developed a sensitivity to sodium laurel sulfate. When a dermatologist thought it might be my toothpaste I was skeptical, but she was right. But then I embarked on the quest to find a SLS-free product that I was happy with. Many left my teeth clean (at least I hope so!) but my mouth did not feel fresh. Finally I tried Arm & Hammer Essentials and it’s so much better. I still miss my old favorite (also Arm & Hammer), but this is an excellent product that doesn’t lead to a rash!
